You can also do this pre-cruise via e-mail after you get your welcome e-mail from the concierges (ours came the Monday before our sailing). We had a short list of 4-5 things taken care of before ever boarding. Junior & Elaine were great at responding to my e-mails.

The RC card is actually pretty poor for accumulating points since there are so few ways to accumulate anything beyond 1x

Thanks, @USCG Teacher.  Both of us can drive a stick shift, so here's hoping!

Different port and company, but I did a similar tour in Cozumel.  My wife & I were paired up with another couple in a jeep, and the groups were basically left on their own to decide the driving/seating location situation. In our case, we had a manual and I was the only one in the jeep who could drive stick, so that settled that decision.

I guess we’ve just been lucky. Never had anything even slightly ruined.  One time (we were Star Class so everything came back on hangars) we realized, after we got home, that Dan had an extra pair of gym shorts and I had a missing pair of yoga pants !  So the item count was correct but someone got my britches and someone’s missing some gym shorts !  Dan loves those shorts.  They’re his favorite Jammie’s.  I hope whoever got my pants are enjoying them half as much !

USCG Teacher reacted to twangster in Boarding Time Question
Just to be clear the time is not a boarding time.  It a check in time to arrive at the terminal for the wellness check.  The ship will almost certainly not be boarding at 10am and probably not boarding at 10:30am.
There will almost certainly be waiting time in the terminal until the ship boards.   Nonetheless 10am or 10:30am are great early times to secure that will allow you to be among the first to board once CBP determines the ship can commence boarding which could be anytime but typically before noon.

@WAYNO, if you look carefully, the High Tea tower does not need any assembly like the charcuterie board.  Also, the high tea tower is vertical while the charcuterie board is horizontal.  High tea leans towards the sweet side while the charcuterie board leans more on the savory side. Sorry, my analytical engineering side is showing. LOL!  I don't really care what you call them, I love them both.

When I was in England, high tea was MUCH more than a simple cup of tea and a crumpet or charcuterie.  I remember a TOWER of food with finger sandwiches, cheese, meats, scones, and yes a crumpet.  This tower was shared between 2 people.  There were also lots of variety of teas - which I don't think Royal will have.  But I could be wrong. You may be able to go to the Windjammer and sort of duplicate the menu?  Maybe?

I just checked in last night and received at 10 AM boarding time, so I have to assume that porters will be around and at the ready when your family arrives!

I strive for decent & take what I can get. Some places go to the trouble of ordering Amoroso rolls then their meat is disgusting. Or I find the opposite… A family from Pittsburgh opened a place by me & the steak is pretty good but their rolls are as soft as hot dog rolls. 🙄
At least Wawa opened here a while ago & they’re pretty common now. We went to a grand opening when it was fairly new & it was like a sea of Philly team jerseys. 🦅

Here I am, 51 days out from my Oasis of the Seas cruise out of Bayonne, and low and behold I see those magical words in my email inbox: Your Stateroom Has Been Upgraded.  My minimum $700 bid moved me from a JS guarantee to a 1 Bedroom Aquatheater Suite!  I am beyond stunned, the timing, the acceptance, all of it!  So Suite Snob crew (this is in fact a term of endearment!), help a dad who's never stayed in anything bigger than a Promenade View room taking his kids on their 1st cruise with the lowdown: what do I do now?  Do I cancel my MDR reservations if we're going to do CK, or will the concierge do that?  I suddenly have so many questions that I hadn't even thought about!  Any advice/pointers/experience would be greatly appreciated!

Right?  It's such a silly thing, but I also always really enjoyed it.  Maybe it's something about going to bed every night thinking about how I was going to start the next day's adventures, or maybe it's just because I'm a glutton.  Maybe both? 🤷🏻‍♂️

We stayed in Loft Suite on the Harmony April.  This wasn't our first Loft Suite stay or suite cabin so we pretty much knew what to expect.  Go to the suite lounge/Ck when you first get on board and eat lunch at the Ck.  Lunch started about 1130 so we sat in the suite lounge until then.  Visit the suite concierges while your waiting for lunch to set up any reservations you might need like the comedy club.  Then walk over to the Ck concierge and get your times you want to eat there.  I didn't care for the lobster recipe so next time i will eat lobster at MDR.  Our cabin was right next to the elevators so I would take a quick trip in the suite lounge in the mornings for a sweet roll and coffee.  If you have a large travel coffee cup and have room bring it with you it will come in handy for the quick trips to the suite lounge.

And THIS is why I keep turning to you all for advice, I never would have thought of the room service option!  So, it sounds like I'll go with asking Monday evening to start with (being sure to emphasize that I have a plan B if it is a big inconvenience), and if it is, I'll order a few through room service.  Well done, team, and many thanks!
