Sitting in the Suite waiting area waiting to board...Che k-in was smooth except they didn’t direct us to the Suite elevator. Either way it was fast!

Good morning! It’s FINALLY cruise day!!!! We woke up to a beautiful sunrise and five ships in port! One NCL, one MSC, two Carnival and of course...our beauty!!! ? We plan on catching our UberXL (too much luggage even though we tried to minimize) around 9:45ish. I can’t wait to share pictures from onboard. My husband’s medical issue that I vaguely mentioned at the start of this blog was an aggressive form of cancer. He had surgery for removal and is cancer free, but as you can imagine...it’s been a very stressful time for that and just other life reasons. WE NEED THIS!!!!

Watching Norwegian Breakaway sail off. No @twangster to say bon voyage to tonight. We’re off to find some dinner now. ?

Yes, it was not bad at all. I barely saw any and the water was so warm!!!

Sights from our visit to South Beach today. Some beach time, a stroll on Ocean Dr., a visit to the Versace Mansion and some amazing food and drink at Taquiza on Collins Avenue.

We definitely get suite perks for sure! The suite lounge, priority boarding, vip pool seating, etc. My luggage tag says VIP too. No worries there! I read the link she sent and it said since there is no CK you can have lunch in select specialty restaurants.

You won’t regret it! So easy to relax and easy walking distance to CVS and tons of restaurants.

Our view waking up this morning...a beautiful sunrise and one NCL ship in port with lots of sad people onboard right now. Our little guy is up and ready to GO swim. He will not stay out of the window and I don’t blame him. It’s beautiful here. I’m already wondering if we will regret not staying here upon our return. Instead we chose a place in Ft. Lauderdale.

The panorama suite views look awesome. We are definitely getting spoiled with views this week! Enjoy your B3B...that sounds amazing!!! My pleasure!!!! I love for blogs when I’m not sailing. It’s what gets me through when I’m not sailing myself. Thanks!!!! Thanks...that first drink last night really started the unwinding part. Thanks....we are definitely sold now! Hahahaha...I did. The only problem is he won’t be heat to return the favor. I almost got a picture of him too with my long range telescope lens.

The room in the hotel is perfect. I just finished testing out the bed by taking an after dinner nap which I never do. I am NOT a napped. I tend to wake up feeling worse instead of better so I try to avoid them. The bathroom is HUGE!!!!

We were starving right after check-in so we strolled over to Bayside Marketplace. A dark cloud appeared overhead and we felt a few raindrops...but it never amounted to anything more. Live music and lots of people dancing and enjoying themselves. We decided on Hooters and ate out on the deck area. We had wings, fried pickles and I enjoyed my first drink of this vacation making it really official. We’re in Miami so I chose. Miami Vice and it hit the spot!

Alert!!!! Alert!!!! We should’ve had an interior room and were upgraded to a bay view just in time to watch departures! I’m in love!!!!?? I already know why @Love2cruise2002 loves this place!

Awesome!!! I think he’s over all of the transportation part of today and ready for food and exploring. ?

Remember our blue luggage with the llama tag? It’s now a new brown luggage with a llama tag courtesy of Southwest. When I say it looked like Swiss cheese I’m not exaggerating. I would’ve gotten a picture but hubby whisked it off so fast I missed the opportunity. New bag....

I thought so too...I even checked my spam box to make sure it wasn’t filtered out in error. We’re on our way to your favorite hotel now. I wish would’ve got Club Level, but not this go round.

Waiting on daddy to solve our issue, then calling an Uber to Miami...

One snafu...Southwest luggage handlers totally trashed one of our pieces of luggage. My hubby is on a mission to go take up the issue with someone. Other than that...staff have been great and flying out of Baltimore May be our new favorite!
