  1. I totally would! However, university, and the fact that I live in Canada won't allow me to ?
  2. Is it just me, or does this reversal of the original decision take emphasis off of the fact that Royal is still not offering this anymore to new guests.
  3. Other than the shows and artwork which are different, Symphony replaced Sabor with Playmakers, Mini Bites with El Loco Fresh, added a candy store called Sugar Beach, and laser tag. Also, you may notice certain things are moved around from Harmony compared to Symphony.
  4. They are called WOW Bands and are $5. Most ships will reprogram them for you.
  5. I got 60% off my 4-device package for my cruise in March of 2020. $36 CAD per day instead of the $65 originally, sweet!
  6. Booked over 400 days in advance, now closing in on 200 days for our huge 13 people family trip! The best part is I'm the one in charge of all the planning, so its non-stop cruise excitement!
  7. I 100% agree AC Rouge is a complete joke. I actually travel with them a lot however, as I visit my place in Florida twice a year. This allows my family to purchase a flight pass, and with 5 of us and 20 one way trips included in the pass, it works out to two round trips perfectly. The advantage to the flight pass is I get to travel anytime I want, which is always during peak season because of school, for a set price, which is half of what I would pay to book these specific dates without the flight pass. I will again be using a flight pass, however this cruise is a large family cruise, and some of the extended family is facing the problem of paying $1000 per person to fly from Toronto, which is why I posted this here.
  8. I checked Air Transat before, and decide to check again, and it is $2000 round trip, with the horrible flight times you mention. Time to rent a car, lol!
  9. In general, Canadian "budget" airlines are a sham. As many have already mentioned, Air Canada Rouge charges the same price for a lower quality flight overall, however we really don't have much of a choice. Us Canadians also have another budget airline called Swoop, which is owned by WestJet, and this I have found to be even worse! Swoop was created to compete with the super-ultra low cost budget bottom of the barrel airlines in Canada, namely Flair airlines. Out of curiosity, I checked this airline, which doesn't even fly out of Toronto, but Hamilton instead, which is around 2 hours away by drive from Toronto. They do not fly to Miami, which is where my cruise is leaving, but Ft. Lauderdale instead as well. The round trip ended up being $50 cheaper that Air Canada Rouge, so much for big savings! The really funny part was their own parent organization, West Jet, had flights from Toronto to Miami, as well as Toronto to Ft. Lauderdale, for only $50 more as well.
  10. My flight (Round Trip) to Miami from Toronto Pearson on March 13, 2020 is an outrageous $1,000 CAD per person, and thats even on Air Canada's "discount/budget" option, Air Canada Rouge!
  11. I can see your sailing when I'm on the page, meaning it is available to order. Try this link, it goes directly to the wine and liquor section: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/royalgifts/wine-liquor. Hope this works!
  12. Hi! You can order bottles of alcohol (wine and champagne only,) as well as other treats and small gifts from the Royal gifts website. Here is a link to the onboard (waiting in your room) section of the shop: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/royalgifts/?icid=hpnvbr_pagehe_ryl_hm_awaren_955. Along with wine and champagne, there is alcohol and soda packages (rum and coke, vodka and sprite, etc.) to purchase. You could also bring up to two bottles of wine or champagne per stateroom on board with you on embarkation day..There is a corkscrew in your room, and if you want to enjoy it at a restaurant, there is a corkage fee that applies. Policy: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/onboard-alcohol-guest-policy "On boarding day, guests may bring onboard two (2) 750 ml bottles of personal wine or champagne per stateroom in their carry-on luggage. If more than two bottles of wine or champagne are brought onboard, including any alcoholic beverages purchased in ports-of-call or in our onboard shops, they will be stored by the ship and delivered to your stateroom on your last day onboard." However, this doesn't include hard liquor or beer, which cannot be brought on board and will be confiscated.
