No, they are not.  If someone "steals" your towel, you should go to the towel station and report it so they can update your count.  It's also a good idea to check your count when you return your towels.  We always return all of ours at the same time, so I always ask to make sure I'm back to "zero".  In my opinion, it's best to return the towels at the end of each day and make sure you are back to "zero" and then get new fresh towels each morning when you need them.  Doing this we have never had an issue with being charged for a towel.

we trade ours back either during the day for fresh ones if there is a midday shower -- or at the end of the day so we're not lugging them around everywhere 😊

We just trade out our used for new at the end of each day’s activities.

Just got off Radisnce last Friday.  I checked in the day it opened and provided all the information except pictures.  I added the pictures two days before embarkation, right after our COVID tests were negative.  When we got to the ship we were told there no pictures and they took new ones.  So my conclusion is the app will let you enter information almost right up to boarding but there is no guarantee it will be transferred to the database used on embarkation day so enter the information as soon as possible.

You should have almost until boarding day to update it. Even if you don't you can still board, it just takes longer for them to scan passports and whatnot.

I am not so sure, but I think you have up to a week or so before your sailing, to complete it. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

I ordered ours and it only took about 10 days for me to get them.  We live in Alaska, I was super surprised how quickly they got here

Sorry for the ambiguity, I just did a screenshot. Option 1 is refund plus a complimentary cruise (so just pay taxes and gratuities).

The cruise you speak of was changed from a 4N to a 7N, so Royal will honor those who paid the $99pp price. They won't hike your bill unless you cancel or try to reprice.

My wife and I recently booked with Navigator of the Seas Mexican Riviera Cruise in December. It's a week long cruise. We noticed the UDP price at $99/person and made the purchase thinking it was on sale. We made that purchase back in July. It shows on our bill as having the UDP. Recently we found out that they mispriced the UDP for this cruise and it's really several times that. Turns out the $99/person was the price they had been using for their 4 night cruise right before our cruise, they just took a while to update their price for the UDP.
Anyway, our bill still shows UDP and at $99/person but if you book this now it's well north of $200/person. Just curious what everyone thinks. Will we get the UDP for the full length of the cruise at $99, or will they shorten it to the 4 nights it was on the cruise before? Or maybe hike the bill we've already paid? I'm unclear how RCCL handles mispricing something on their end.
Sorry I'm just confused by this.

RC is really good about letting you keep their pricing snafu’s! For that price, DO NOT cancel that purchase!!!! Take it and eat in a specialty restaurant each and every night.

Only the app will let you skip right to the check-in time. If you use the website, it'll make you fill everything else in first.

That said if you prefer the website, you can use the app to get your slot, then come back later on the website to fill out the rest of the info

It was pretty far out if I recall, 1-2 months. They have a mock calendar on the site you can check without actually booking an appointment.
You may want to wait, however, as testing protocols are changing and for all we know you may not even need to test in October.

Yes.  It is normal that they do not let you specify the restaurant for your courtesy reservation.  Once on board, you can use that place holder and insert the restaurant of your choice.

Once on board , go directly to a specialty restaurant ie. Chops, and make all your specialty dining reservations for your cruise.
If you are staying in a Grand suite or higher, the concierge should reach out 5-7 days before cruise via email. They can make your reservations for you. (usually)😄

FrHoffard reacted to Paid4c4 in What's the last thing you put in your suitcase?
I read this many years ago and have used it ever since and it helped save us on an Hawaiian cruise.  The last thing I put in our suitcases is an itinerary from the time we leave home until we return home.  This includes names, cell phone numbers, address, flights, hotels and cruise line and ship.  One of our pieces of luggage got lost and unfortunately our identification tag had been torn off.  Our piece of luggage was eventually opened, our itinerary was discovered.  Delta called us to inform us they had our luggage and would forward it to our first port in Hawaii and would be at the pier waiting for us.  I mentioned this to the Concierge and she said they would take care of getting the luggage at the pier and to our room.  Much to my relief everything went off without a hitch!  Made a believer out of me.

Yep, most of the time there is a small reversible magnet to let the room steward know if your in or out.

Magnet that says “sleeping off the adventure” on one side and “out catching thrills” (something like that) on the other
when you go to bed be sure to put out the magnets facing to appropriate side.
when you leave in the morning flip the magnet.  The steward than knows you are out and will clean the room.  When they are done they leave the magnet on the inside of the door.
try and do the same for dinner, but if you forget they know the dinner time, I imagine they knock a few times and let themselves in.
you can flip the lock in your cabin while inside, that would prevent the steward from entering, as well as anyone else who has your key so be careful you don’t lock out family members

Was this one of those Navigator sailings that went from 3 to 7 nights?
