Saving money and having the option to drive would win it for me. Navigator is one of my favorite ships, but I also have not been on Allure so I can not explicitly compare the two.

I am booked, I just realized up until now I had no idea what ports we were going to

I like to have as much of my vacation paid for in advance as possible so that is the biggest pro for me

I was thinking of booking the space center excursion on disembark day as my flight doesnt leave until later in the day and it will be a good way to kill some time. I am worried as the wording says the tour needs a minimum number of people booked to operate. Does anyone know how long before the cruise will they make the determination to hold the tour or not? My worry is that I book the tour then last minute they decide not to do it and im scrambling for alternate plans for the day.

while the price may seem crazy for most of us, as long as people are willing to pay then I can not see them lowering much.

I heard that when one person can not make the cruise it is best to just leave the booking as is and have that person be a no show. If you do that is there a point when you need to let someone know that the person is not coming?

I will try to get the cruise compasses done today, sadly when I arrived home I had no power and it just came back on last night. This was a wonderful trip and I cant wait to do it again.

For anyone interested, I kept my booking with bernards tours and I am actually posting this from the French bakery. We have not ran into any issues at all and our tour guide told us that the issues were pretty much in one certain area which we avoided. The tour has been great and we are now headed to the Dutch side.
