The pictures are nice, but there is no way to really understand what this looks like unless you see it with your own eyes!

@snowhiteheather You are welcome. It looks like Anthem will not only do the Fjords next year on May 12th, but will do two possible B2Bs: Jun 14th + Jun 21st and Jul 5th + Jul 12th. We did ours in May and so I like that you picked that cruise. I would worry that Jun and Jul might have less snow left on the Fjord mountains and so you might not see as many waterfalls. I guess it is a trade-off of colder weather and more spectacular views vs warmer weather and less spectacular views...

We flew British Airlines from BOS -> LHR and LHR -> BOS. Only direct flights we could find. We wanted to keep flight time at a minimum, due to my ill wife. Cost was not the priority. Flight time is about 6.5 hours. Due to the luggage we were carrying we wanted private transportation in England. Medical equipment, medical supplies, and a wheelchair on top of all our regular luggage for 2 weeks (B2B). So we used British Express Cars for our ground transportation - that worked out great for us. https://www.britishexpresscars.co.uk/ Stayed at the Premier Inn Stains upon Thames in London near LHR. It was very nice. https://www.premierinn.com/gb/en/hotels/england/surrey/staines/staines-upon-thames.html Also stayed at the Doubletree in Southampton which was OK, but wouldn't stay there again. https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/souhndi-doubletree-southampton/ It looks like next year the Anthem will not do Norway B2B, but there does seem to be 2 cruise choices. Which one are you sailing? I would love to come back!

Thank You! The medical team on-board the Anthem were wonderful. And I can't say enough how wonderful everyone in Norway has been, including the Hospital doctors in Forde.

@FireFishII Thanks! My wife is working on this, but no definitive answer from Option Care. Our final payment is due on Monday (and we booked 2 suites), so I am very nervous!

https://optioncarehealth.com/ They are an infusion care company and I think their policies are different than pharmacies. We have a call into them, but so far no luck with how they can help us. It would be great if they could ship the supplies to RCL in Norway and RCL could deliver them to us on the Anthem. But so far that doesn't look like it can happen.

Thanks, I plan on doing that this afternoon. FYI, the infusion pump is battery-operated, so we will need to take a supply of batteries with us on the trip! Once her backpack is all setup, it is completely portable - except for having to carry the weight and size of the backpack around.

Our TPN must be chilled and cannot be at room temperature for more than 24 hours. She infuses 5X a week and for a 14 hour period. The bag and medicines need to come to room temp for about 4-6 hours before infusion. Yeah, I am very interested if anyone has taken a cruise with TPN, but the responses here make me think not. But Ceil really wants to see Norway and so I really want to make it happen for her.

We both can set it up (inject vitamins and medicines into the bag, connect it up to the portable infusion pump, install it in the backpack), run the infusion, and flush the picc line. Most of the medicine must be kept cold (there are proteins and it is sort of like milk). The TPN supplies are only for one week at a time, so not sure what to do about a two-week cruise. Looking for help with this. I need to learn how to replace the picc dressing, which is done once a week by a visiting nurse. I think I can learn/do that. Not sure about the trouble we will have traveling internationally with syringes, needles, TPN medicines, and all of her regular medicines (including opioids)...

Does anyone have experience bringing TPN on board? My wife needs 14 hours of TPN 5X a week. We are booked on an Anthem Norwegian Fjords B2B in May. So I have lots of questions. Anyone? Thanks in advance!

Kind of surprised since next year's President's Cruise will be on Allure. Maybe it is more to show off Galveston.
