Just checking to see if anyone else is having trouble accessing the cruise planner.
We tried checking in for our cruise last night at midnight, and then again this morning eight hours later and we keep getting directed to a "page isn't working' screen
Tried on Android and out lap top with same results
Does anyone know if we can get our boarding time by calling in the info to their 1-800 #

Symphony let us use the Diamond vouchers on a pitcher in Playmakers. The only disappointment is that the draft selection on that ship is abysmal.

As with all alcohol purchases for consumption onboard (or in the cruise planner in advance) the 18% gratuity is added to bottles of wine.

Personally, I'd consider this a win.  The PC stop is late and short, which limits possible activities in a fairly lame port stop (in my opinion at least!) anyway.  You'll end up with more time to enjoy the ship and you should get you port fees and taxes refunded, so all positives in my book!

I wouldn't, since I love sea days and I find Port Canaveral pretty dull.  But, that's me.

We did Portside BBQ twice on our Oasis sailing in Jan. The brisket was amazing, so was the mac and cheese. It's probably the only reason I would sail Oasis again over another oasis class ship......it wouldn't be for Cats!

Our coping mechanism is to get our beverage, snack, and leave. Im non confrontational and its just easier for us.
We find it worse on the older ships where the lounge is still in the Crown.  Not as much an issue on Oasis class where its on the inside on 4

The Compass you found was as close as you can get.  Adventure is slightly older and smaller than Liberty, but essentially the same when it come to the offerings.  The Ice show, and main theater entertainment will be different, but as far as activities, and themed parties, you will find it to be very similar if not the same.
 

This really can't be quantified as the best pours will depend on you and your tipping habits. 

I used the extra money to book more cruises.

I really have mixed feelings.  As a stockholder I want them to make the maximum amount of money per cruise.  As a cruiser I want to cruise as cheep as I can and get as much as I can for free.  I might follow your take a try a few with no extra's and see how it goes.

While I like to stick it to them by going cheap when I'm paying for the cruise, it's offset by the $$$ shelled out when I tag along with my mom while she spends my inheritance, so... 😆

The only way i know of is to do a mock booking and click on the discounts link in the 'how many guests' section, in the popup under the C&A number is a look-up link.

May is very different than summer peak.  Once most schools are out, pricing soars.
This is a few years old and for an inside cabin but in my experience most cabins track this annual pattern year after year.
Christmas is a spike then prices drop then creep up towards Spring Break after which they fall a bit then slowly creep up toward the summer peak.  Once school is back in rates fall then go up a bit for fall school break in November and Thanksgiving which is another high period before they crash right after Thanksgiving before climbing back up towards the Christmas spike.  
Same story year after year.  

 
Star class is an anomaly though and may not crash as low as other cabin types do.  Very limited supply so their annual price trends don't track all other cabins, but you can bet summer is a peak even for Star.
