Going by the tight fit into the dry dock it’s as big if not bigger than oasis class.
 

It is definitely wider that that Carnival Excel Class cruise ship behind it. 
Carnival can keep their Excel Class ship I have no problem waiting for something Iconic.

I have a feeling that it will live up to the hype.  The last time I think Royal was this secretive about the launch of whole new class of ship was for Oasis and she certainly lived up to the hype.
I'm confident Royal won't let us down and our patience will be rewarded in September!!!

Royal has anounced an anouncement lol. There will be an Icon information reveal event in September in NYC. 
Royal is really playing this one up, I hope it lives up to the hype!

This is also the point in this thread where I remind everyone don't take investing advice from anyone on the internet. None of us are professionals and there are risks with investing.

I'm not certain if they are doing overnights, or just leaving at night and coming back in the morning.
It's clear it will be two days in a row, but by leaving at night, they can open casino and shops.  Unless Bahamas gives them special permission while in port.

my fear is  it may have to be a us Gen X ballers and above who keep the industry afloat. 

Relatively lightly used area.  Easy access during the proof of concept to adjust the antenna without accessing rooftop areas on the stacks while underway.  This means that Starlink personnel can go and tweak the antenna without crew escort or PPE required like harnesses that would be needed on the roof areas near the stacks.  

Once all the infrastructure is in place, this is going to blow the doors off all current Internet on ships. I wonder if Starlink will even let their service be exclusive to one line. Glad to see Royal getting in front of this now.

According to what I read,  cosmetic damage only. I don't think Canaveral can say the same.

I dont mind, but the issue isn't that the photos have a watermark or not on them.
What typically happens is the person that takes the photo posts them on their social media account. Then someone else saves them and reposts without asking permission. Then you see them, and re-post here.
It's just a very gray area and I always want to be respectful of whomever took the original photo.
Use your best judgement.

If the gap is the same width, then the ship is definitely larger, although I wouldn't have expected royal to expand the ship in width, considering this is one of the more limiting factors in ports-of-call, etc.

This sounds like Royal and sounds like a reasonable guess.

I've been waiting for this news.  I felt there was no way Fain would not go bigger.  It's in his blood.  I was surprised when Icon was said to be between O & Q so I've been biting my tongue all this time.  So for me this is not a surprise at all.
