  1. I am a heavy DX pkg drinker..... at least 2 coffees a day (1 or 2 with liquor)..... at least 1 or 2 redbulls..... 1 or 2 wines per meal..... pellegrino everywhere..... powerades and bottled water off the ship.... cocktails at shows.... frozen drinks on deck..... I wouldn't be able to freely enjoy if I dont get the DX pkg..... but its just me..... I clocked in like 15+ drinks a day on some days during my last LOS cruise.
  2. Cafe P has liq for coffees. I had probably 15+ of them hot and cold and frap last week on LOS. One tips tho, for fraps, ask them to put the liq directly into the cup rather than put it in the blender (most of the time they over blend and some liquor leftover being thrown away).
  3. If your ship has The Key program, embark lunch at Chop's is for Keys only.
  4. Just finished my week on LOS..... I hit 2 specialty restaurants per night almost everyday.... right at 5 or 530 in one then 830 in another.... Almost get bored with their menu.... starting to ask them to change things up (which they did)... Sabor is good for margarita runs. Unfortunately, MDR really sucks (on RCCL as compare to HAL). I was impressed by Windjammer buffet tho.
  5. Was just on LOS last week. If you want Sabor's margaritas, you would need to go dine in. Kind of one of the reasons why I bought the UDP (unlimited dining pkg). I went in more than a few times just for a dish or two, and had 2 or 3 or 4 margaritas (and/or tequila shots).
  6. On LOS, Sugarfree Redbull available at Ben & Jerry's. Flavoured Redbulls (Yellow, Red, Blue) are available at Cupcake. I drank at least 2 or 3 per day during my last week's sailing.
  7. Embark lunch at Chop's is exclusive to Keys. UDP cant get you in. Just tried on LOS last week.
  8. Wait for "sale".... you should be able to get it for $40something a night. Pkg for 7 nights cruise should be under $400 (out the door). Frozen drinks would be around $9 or $10. Drink of the day is $8. A lot of drinks are at $12 or $13 (depending on your ship), and thats also the general limit of your deluxe drink pkg. If you ARE a drinker then I would say drink pkg all the way.....
  9. I am getting on LOS this Sunday. Originally, I purchased the 3 night package..... that means I can go to specialty restaurants 3 times..... now, I refunded it and ordered the UDP.... that will allow me to go to specialty restaurants a minimum of 10 meals.... plus you can do more than 1 per night.... and per lunch.... I much rather to do that than just do it exactly 3 times...
  10. WOW..... this is EPIC..... let me print it out and check them off!
  11. UDP all the way. The additional cost is really not bad at all. 2 person is cheaper than 1 all-you-can-drink pkg! The whole experience is completely elevated, it is going to a gourmet restaurant every night, with elevated quality of food, and elevated hospitality. Not that MDR is no good or bad, the specialty restaurants are just a tad better. UDP all the way. The additional cost is really not bad at all. 2 person is cheaper than 1 all-you-can-drink pkg! 12. What are the top shelves? How to order the frozen drinks but with premium juices etc rather than those sugary syrups? Etc...
  13. I will be on LOS next week..... I am going with a group (but they are not much of foodies, while I am), so, today, I just purchased the Unlimited Dining Package for myself (LOS don't really have that many specialty diners, but whatever...)..... I am planning to just pop in and out of those specialty diners to get an appetizer or entree and a drink here and there (I've got drinks pkg too).... and then join back to the group to socialize.... Will this be difficult to do? Will those specialty restaurants be fully booked to the point that walking in for a quick bite won't be possible? As the UDP now advertised as: "For one low price, you can enjoy multiple entrees and visit multiple specialty restaurants every night of your sailing." Should I book different specialty restaurants at different times in a night to make sure I get to go in? I think I will enjoy Sabor's specialty margaritas.... and I am already thinking about just hopping in, let them "charge the cover", maybe have some ceviche, take a few shots of tequilas and grab a margarita to go.... I think I may do the same for Johnny Rocket's Milkshake.... altho, I really don't know WHAT i can get to eat at JR.... LOL ** any specialty, must try, drinks at Giovanni's or Chop's Lastly, with the $35 a la carte limit, doesn't that means I can keep stocking up on Izumi Express's sushi.... and just bring them off on my "port days"? ANY other TIPS how to best use the UDP+DDP (Unlimited Dining Pkg + Deluxe Drink Pkg)?
