We sailed a week before Dorian. The only rain we had was in San Juan (and the bulk of that was in the rain forest).

If you've got neighbors that are a little more talkative, while you're wanting to enjoy the view more peacefully, a good set of headphones is great for balcony relaxation. ?

Little bit of everything: free weights, weight stack machines, and cardio equip. Just be aware that the gym hours are concurrent with the spa hours-- because you'll have to walk through the spa to get to the gym. (Real bummer for me when I sailed on Allure last August. I'm an early morning gym goer.)

I did it once for dad's 90th birthday. 
 
The crew saw the shirts and went out of their way to make a big deal about it. Dad ate it up!
 
Dad passed 6 months later, but I'm so glad we were able to fulfill his bucket list dream of cruising and the shirts/crew made it extra special

Currently on Symphony, we’ve had beautiful weather today, but the ship has been vibrating here and there ....... seems to be getting a lot more bouncy and rocky tonight and they have barf bags up all over now.  I hope we have good weather for Cococay tomorrow.
 
 

Just got back a couple weeks ago from our first sailing on Allure. Awesome time. My advice (to echo what's been said)...
Relax. Have fun. You're on vacation! Try new things! New food, new activities, etc. Be social-- cruising is a great chance to make new friends.

My husband and I are planning to dress up for our formal nights aboard ship. He bought us new tuxedos for our anniversary.
As many folks here will tell you, it's not required (polos/collared shirts and khakis are perfectly acceptable), but hey, it's fun to get all fancy. ?

Not a Coke person (Pepsi, yet I married a Southerner), but love the Freestyle machines. For some reason they taste better to me than standard cans/bottles...  I'm just weird that way.
