  1. @Brookelynn. No, it's Royal IT. Please don't let it take away from your sailing. Did you uninstall and then install again? That is what I had to do, they will get it together.

There is nothing like your first Royal Cruise, it is incredible. I look back and remember it so fondly, I met @SebagoSue on that sailing, actually @wordell1 and his family , what a warm wonderful welcome we received.

The only problem you may encounter is you will get hooked like the rest of us, the ships crew go above and beyond to make sure you are happy.

Happy cruise and a big warm welcome to our Royal family!!

  2. @Ampurp85 I agree the loyalty program is enjoyable for sure. Being D+ we enjoy wonderful perks. In my perfect world (because we also are pre vintage) wish there was some way to earn loyalty points on X to add to our Royal totals. We are really interested in Celebrity now that kiddo is leaving the nest & our cruising style is not Icon & Star at this point. We are wanting smaller and don't need the waterslides etc. I looked for our sailing in 2025 at Celebrity HARD, but not earning points towards my status had me putting on the brakes for a minute. I get it, their program, their rules. Just going to take it one sailing at a time, and I LOVE 2 CRUISE!!

In 2026 I will be celebrating 60 years young & I may break free for an X celebration though to mark the occasion!

  3. @smokeybandit this is our big celebration sailing, I secured the Royal Suite day one of release. I asked about RU because I was curious if they would send out something for the 2 bedroom but more importantly because we sail on her again in August in an OS and I wanted to place bids for the 2 bedroom and Royal at that time. They are booked as of now. So I'll keep an eye out at day 60!

When we were on Serenade in an OS I "won" the 2 bedroom and while I enjoyed the interior space the cabin was in no way an "upgrade" paying more I felt a bit "duped" The 2 bedroom on the Adventure was so much better. I went from an OS on deck 10 to what they called  2 bed OS with let's just say "issues".  It's a 2 bedroom with 2 baths but the balcony so tiny, the aft odors and noise from the venue below did not translate to "upgrade" albeit we made the absolute best of it.

Thanks so much for the great info!

  4. @TheoneandonlyMICAH yes it looks like 1600 owners suite is available! We stayed in the 2 bedroom aft previously and loved it! The balcony was amazing, there are some who don't prefer it because of the superstructure but we loved it!

    * A total of 3 OS now available, there was only 1 this weekend! Happy bidding, hope you are successful 🙂

  5. One of my bookings just offered 600.00 OBC. When I ghost booked the cabin with all of the "discounts" that included the OBC the sailing was 1600.00 more, so essentially I would be paying for my own OBC. It's taken years but I finally figured it out. As sailings move forward and book up the "discounts" and "specials" are eye catching for sure, but not once has my out of pocket original cost become less. (after Royal come back was well under way) Book early and often, LOL!!  Seriously, they raise prices and then slip in the "specials" so nothing special about it.

I'm sure if a sailing albeit ship/itinerary isn't doing well there may be a deal BUT I'm sure those are few & far between.

I used to bother @Sharla every time I saw one of these, I'm not sure how in the heck she kept reading my emails.....🤦‍♀️🤣

  6. To me it's crazy thinking. We thought sitting empty makes zero money, same thing we saw on Barefoot Beach. The structure is just sitting there, just waiting to make some $$.  Just price so they sell out every sailing some profit is better than none. I can't fathom the fact that the price doesn't include beverages, at least waters and soda as well.

I usually do a B2B, but the prices are too high. I have Adventure August 2.

I second this. The inaugural prices were high. I have never sailed one and wanted to experience it. While I wished it was a longer sailing if it was I for sure would not have been able to book it. If I enjoy the ship I'll go ahead and sail her again some time later in the future .... when the pricing is better.

  8. I was able to finally purchase my Evian water, limited dining still & no railway. The prices this morning on Coco Cay especially the Beach club have come down some. I guess Allure passengers aren't paying those sky high prices either, still high as in 180.00 per person for entry (no thank you) and the cabanas have come down a bit there also, just under 3,000 for a beach cabana (again, no thank you)

We have never done a stand alone 3 night sailing, we usually paired it for a B2B but at this point the cost is prohibitive with everything else we have going on. May take a page from @OCSC Mike Oasis Pool, lunch and back on the ship for Coco Cay visit.

I just wish Royal would even tease some more information on the Railway experience.
