My October Symphony dropped to $49 DBP. I want to book it but I haven’t gotten my 125% OBC for my cancelled cruise. I’m sure by the time I get it (around April 30) the price will go back up. ? 
Pretty sure this sale is to get a flush of cash for RC. The massive delay in refunds shows to me they don’t have the money. Run a great sale=generate much needed cash. 

Thank you!! A few other things seem to be marked down on the Anthem NYE cruise, but I finally pulled the trigger on VOOM for myself (kiddos already have it thanks to the intern sale last year).

Viking Cruises is suspending all operations (river and ocean) for embarkations dated 3/12/20 -  4/30/20. 

Just make sure they are keeping your same reservation number and all is good.  Every once in awhile they will try to say they have to cancel and rebook you to get the deal - that would make  for a mess and you could lose that drink package.

If you are upgrading then all the cruise planner purchases will go with you.  If you are canceling and rebooking, then they won't.

I would definitely bring your own, and carry the bottle with you into the dining venues. If you use the hand holding the bottle to wave off the washy washy people you should be just fine.

Our good friend’s parents and aunt (if you can follow that, lol) go every year. Our friends have been on it a few times - but not this year - and their daughter (now 11) has always managed to befriend the players’ younger kids. Apparently she’s ended up in a couple of different family photos, lol.

Anthem NYE cruise has all prices listed. I’ll continue to be happy with my $18 drink pkg. ?

As others have posted and speculated- 450 is the max capacity for the CocoBeach Club, which includes the cabana guests.
That seems like a good number compared to the 1900 capacity at Thrill Park.

What's included in the Coco Beach Club and its cabanas?
 

I think it may just be the ships where they've configured into the new Ocean Adventure area which is more of a big room over having the groups broken down more.   
From what I've heard, though, the teen activities are a little less structured than for the younger set.  The teens use the teen area as a meet up and hangout and while an older kid (but too young for the teen group) may not be able to access that area, they can certainly benefit from your older one making friends there..the teens tend to group up and go hang out all over the ship together.  I see it on all of my cruises.

This is something to keep in mind as this is how it works for ALL pricing (excursions, packages, etc). When something is labeled as “x% off” or “BOGO” that bottom line price is already factored in when they show the per person price on the main page. There is no additional discount. 

It is my understanding that when there is a sale it is already factored in. Meaning since all rooms are based on 2 person occupancy the average cost is that price.

If you already know it’s cheaper to book the second cruise than to stay at the hotel, why not just go ahead and do that now??

What an amazing day.
 
The other 9 did a catamaran excursion. Me and the wife got the day to ourselves. We did the St Maarten bus tour. Very interesting but odd at the same time. St Maarten is hard to explain,  beautiful and sad at the same time. The last hurricane did a number and parts of it seem too poor to rebound. There were also 6 ships docked so or was jamming everywhere. 
We were the biggest but a couple of these werent small.

After that we rushed back to do our vow renewal. I had to sit in the suite deck while they all got ready. I reread my vows, and madE a few last minute adjustments at the bar with vodka on the rocks. The  loft attendants and concierge helped out with some decor and a cheese plate. It was amazing! My sister in law did an amazing job officiating the vow renewal in the suite. Most of those pics will have to wait as we used a better camera than my phone. Our daughter was the flower girl and my wife came down the loft stairs in a beautiful dress and we had a beautiful ceremony. We were about 15 minutes to late for a sunset back ground. we made up for it with pics around the ship! We even got a pic with the cruise director Mark right when they finished taping a show.




 

I'm on harmony now. I'll be there on Saturday in an overwater cabana. I'm posting pics in my thread in the live blog boards. Already posted the new map there
