TXcruzer got a reaction from Keanoknick in Safety hazard and how to escalate further up
Royal Caribbean should give me a JS at the price of an interior because that really fits my needs better………….

There are no next steps and no one for you to contact that can resolve the problem you have created for yourself. I realize this is not what you want to hear but it is the truth.

If you are trying to effect change for future builds, all you can really do is log the suggestion/complaint. There really are no next steps there. If you want to switch to a room that's guaranteed to have the bed setup you desire on your future sailing, you need to pay for the upgraded room.

Was just about to post that. One cruise we had 2 pullmans and a sofa. My one son didn't want to sleep in the pullman so he sleep on the sofa.

To add on to your very sensible approach; one of the children is 6, therefore “Pullman compliant” the younger child could sleep on the sofa.

She is out of luck on this point. Who says the Pullman's, sofa beds, etc are for children. I would have slept in the Pullman and put my kids in the bed, not on the floor.

TXcruzer got a reaction from rjweber3 in San Juan getting a new pier and cruise terminal
It wasn’t just Royal Caribbean, all the lines had the same reaction to the government of Puerto Rico taking over the pier and cruise terminal operations.
The local government had proven time and time again that they could not manage these operations properly due to their financial constraints. The dis repair of the current infrastructure and lack of reliability on operations had become a significant obstacle to profitable operations for the cruise lines. The cruise lines wanted to have a say in how things were built and operated because their success in the area was tied to the proper execution of the plan.
Enter Global Holdings Int. They manage these projects all over the region, and the world. They have relationships with all the players AND deep pockets.
This is not a middle finger in the face of Royal Caribbean, just the opposite.

TXcruzer got a reaction from ScottD in Odyssey / Quantum -- Royal's Dud?
You have to be within a centimeter or so to activate the buttons. One night on a particular busy elevator, the DW was pushed back in the corner and up against the panel, that time there were a few accidental buttons activated. All in all, its much complaining about nothing

WOW
I thought The Book was the 2nd best Royal Production I have ever seen (behind Mama Mia). We went to it twice when we were on Odyssey in March.

She won't have any issues, one can just press the buttons like a normal elevator; 3/4 of the time that's what I did just out of habit.
