I am super late to this party. The freeloaders have been keeping me so busy I have not been on the blogs for weeks now. This is the perfect time for me to read this blog. @TheBoss518 and I just booked Indy for August. We actually got a casino comp for the cruise. This is our first "free" cruise (we of course paid to upgrade to a suite gty) I feel pretty lucky because the last time we were in the casino was two years ago. I ran the Facebook page for that sailing and ran a slot pull. depite not spending any more money there, we still get offers and this was the first one we have been able to do. We are excited because we are leaving the freeloaders home with the grand parents for this one. I do have a question for all you casino pros. When you book a casino comp, do you get the opportunity for royal up bids? We did a suite gty rate because we would be perfectly fine in a jr suite since there aren't big differences in suite benefits moving to a GS. I don't feel like paying an extra 1k per person to book into a GS directly. There are so many rooms open still so fingers crossed we get a magical room assignment by default. I just found out that this cruise is also a Gaming and Anime convention cruise so I cant wait to see all the kids in their cosplay This should make for a fun blog when we go!

yes you can use the Starbucks app as normal. I don't remember seeing any High Noons You can book out as far as what is published which is currently April 2026 Also, drink all the drinks

I'm in full land genie mode, chef (he requested fettuccine alfredo with chicken and broccoli), party planner etc. etc...then I have to work tomorrow. The amount of reading I will have to do on Tuesday is going to be nuts! Sail away into the turning basin from your balcony is going to be great, especially later in the evening. So Jealous!

I think after Berty mentioned the headliner thing, I did go perusing some cruise planners. Wonder had some for a bit, but other ships didn't. Who knows? Either way, I wouldn't be surprised if it's another cost that's cut. I do know our cruise didn't have any headliners.

Finally got a chance to read all of this! I agree with @TheBoss518, that's not nearly enough luggage, and like @asquared17 said....I don't think the weighted blanket is ever staying home again. I hope you do get all the hotel nonsense taken care of. I agree with whoever said the first people you dealt with just didn't want to deal with the issue and fix it.... Welcome to the blogs! Packages etc will appear when they do, typically around 9-10 months for dining/drink packages, could be sooner, could be later. Remember to buy at a price you feel comfortable paying. Look at the bottom line price, not the %off because that will fluctuate. If the price drops after you buy, you can always cancel and re-book at the lower. Excursions will continue to load. Don't just look at the app, make sure to log into your cruise planner on the website, sometimes I have found things there, that have not made it to the app yet. Keep an eye out for show reservations. Those will populate much closer to sail date.

I was going to be in April. The 4/22-4/26 got chartered. We had a 3N either before or after, I don't remember anymore. What's worse, The Boss's B-day was during the 4N

I just got off Harmony and two spots come to mind. 1) Port or starboard side bridge wings by the solarium. They might be a bit tight for 10 people, but its worth exploring them. 2) Along the running track at the bow of the ship, there are seating areas with large windows to the sea. There is much more room. They aren't exactly open air, but there is a nice breeze. This picture was mid-day and I was one of 4 people there. Early in the AM there would probably be less. There will be some traffic on the walking track, but that shouldn't be too distracting.

Just getting caught up here. It was full speed ahead when we got back from our cruise, and I have not had time to read things. I am just getting into golf, and I'm very jealous you got to play those courses. Looking at the pictures though gave me anxiety thinking of all the places that I know my ball would go.....Sand, water...structures...... CP150, it interesting how the menu is supposed to be standardized, yet we got the "peanut butter thing" too and it looked nothing like yours. I'm sure yours was still delicious though. Have a good round this morning!!

Is there a 12 step program or something I can enroll @TheBoss518 in? Maybe a patch or some sort of gum? YES!!! I wonder how much overpacking there will be on our side He is looking, and at suites, but is also turned off at the prices. He might have an easier time going back to gen pop. He has also cruised other lines, so may go that route too. How long will you be in FL after the cruise? There is a strong possibility we will be coming down the 27th.
