  1. If remembered right, the windows are like a sliding glass door. If you look at the video of daytime, you can tell some windows are open and the window next to it is slightly darker. Did the grandfather put her on the railing next to a window that was closed but not latched? He turns his head for a brief instant and that little girl leaned onto it, it slid it open and she fell out? Tragedy? Yes. Negligence on RC part? Guess we'll find out, but not to us. No matter lawyer's intent, still pray for the family. They've got enough to deal with besides us piling on them.
  2. For those of us who have had to deal with a Caribbean beach full of seaweed, this was an interesting read. Google Gizmodo's article "Enormous 5,500-Mile-Long Patch of Atlantic Seaweed Might Be the ‘New Normal’". Sorry. Don't know how to add a link straight to it.
  3. Actually, Guest Services has envelopes for that purpose, extra tip for someone who you felt went above and beyond. You can put their name and where they work and return it to Guest Services or just hand it to them sometime before the cruise ends. We usually pass ours out on the last night.
  4. Love your suggestions. But same for us, can only see this last photo you posted.
  5. We've been on 8 cruises. Always used pill travel cases, carried in our backpacks when boarding. Never had a problem. Never been asked about them.
  6. If remembered correctly, breakfast was from 6:30 until 11:30. Lunch was from 11:30 until 3:00. Tea Time was from 3 until 5. Dinner was from 6:00 until 9PM. Always check your Cruise Compass. Hours might be different on sea days and port days. And there are multiple other places to eat during the day and night. Depends on what you want.
  7. Dining time is for MDR. Show up on time. Windjammer you can go to any time it's open.
  8. Our local JCP has had the same 1/2 price sales prices on clothing for 4 years running now. That's why we don't shop there.
  9. Same for our May 2020 on Symphony. Shows $18 but when you go to check out it's $57/day.
  10. Caribbean cooler? It looks like one of our Drinksof the Day, Allure in May.
  11. Thank you. We're on Oasis November 24. Can't wait to see the changes.
  12. We canceled and re-ordered our drink packages. It took 4 days to re-credit our card.
  13. We were on Allure in May. Always made it our last stop before going to bed, pizza and waters. Seemed to be good choice. Of course, our taste buds and our food evaluations may have been skewed a bit due to drinking all day.?? ????
  14. We like the deck above the pool deck. Out of Miami or Ft. Lauderdale, the left side railing. You can wave to the people on land who are watching you leave. You can hear the music and get your first chance to mingle with other guests. And sometimes the photographers are out taking photos.
  15. Google "magnetic dry erase board". Many options available. Or if you're an Amazon customer, check them too.
  16. Dry erase board on the outside if each other's door.
  17. Don't NEED them, but we're on a cruise vacation. The WANT factor kicks in. Many, many times!!???????
  18. Even Disney World has limited admissions. We've been there a few times when they've closed the parks because of capacity issues. It sucks, but it happens and there's not a lot you can do about it.
  19. If remembering right, at least for our cruises, around 3:30 - 4. Gets done right before Sail Away party.
  20. Thank you both for your service. But, GO ARMY, BEAT NAVY!!??????????
  21. We've done both. Depends on how we're feeling too. Like being served sometimes, like the multiple offerings of the buffet. Some complain about how long it takes in MDR, but we get a table for 2 so we don't have to wait for others to arrive or finish their courses. We've done MDR in 30 minutes. We've also done formal night in Windjammer. Full on formal gown and tux. Definitely got some looks that night but the staff, especially the officers, seemed appreciative that we ate with them. Visited our table a little more than any other time we ate there.
  22. Have seen lots of people do this. Just a matter of how much you can carry and how many trips you want to take. For Windjammer, not sure if you have to wait if there's a line though.
  23. We've been out if Ft. Lauderdale a few times. Have always used Park N Go. Free shuttle to and from the pier. Never had a problem. Wife takes care of reservation but I think it's less than $10 a day.
  24. We're on Oasis in November. Booked it last May. We, and our travel agent, kept looking for price drop or better deals since then. They've now added more discounts, military and balcony, but that initial price went up $2800 with no OBC.
  25. Don't know what ship this is from but should give an idea of what is served.
