I just came back from a Western Med Cruise and found food prices in all ports fairly reasonable (except for Portofino). We used Google Maps to search and found ratings to be very accurate. Our rule of thumb is that if it has above 4.3 stars and has more than 50 ratings, it had good food.

We just stayed in Hotel Capo d’Africa and enjoyed it. It is in the neighborhood surrounding the Coliseum.

Rick Steve´s Pocket Barcelona is a great buy and worth the money. It will give you a what you’re looking for in an easy to read format. We have used his books and vlogs in our visits to Europe when cruising. He’s on point.
