Thank you, Joe!  This is our first time on RC (embarkation on Sunday...yay!) so I thought I better find out ?
 

We did put in a bid and figured whatever happens, we will be happy!

If we bought it back when Chops was the embarkation restaurant, will we still be able to eat there?  That seems a little bait and switch to me and I'm not liking that at all! 

Doesn't make sense.  By purchasing the package, we saved $40, not the other way around.  I would call the RCL agent and ask the question.  I found them to be very helpful.

No, your're not missing anything.  Sometimes purchasing the combo doesn't come out cheaper than buying them individually because they offer different"sales".  In order to cancel, just go into cruise planner and under your order history there will be an option to cancel.  I personally try to make my new purchase before cancelling the cheaper just in case something goes wrong.  Sometimes you are able to and other times you have to cancel first.
