Mr. Candyman got a reaction from Dan Curtis in Do minors need a passport
Some Caribbean ports are now requiring passports so you need to check. But with that being said, you don't need to have a passport on closed loop cruises but it is highly recommended to have it in case of issues that may arise when outside the country. We currently only have and use BC's for all my kids under 18.

Mr. Candyman reacted to KayCee in Just a thank you!
Hello Everyone!
I recently booked our first cruise on RCL for Feb 2021. We’ve sailed on DCL before, but we’re really excited to check out the Oasis of the Seas! Anyway, I booked it myself online without much knowledge of the cruise line (looking back that was probably a mistake and I should have looked for a travel agent, but oh well I suppose). I’ve been lurking on these boards for a while and came across a post about price adjustments. I’ve kind of been watching prices and noticed yesterday that RCL was doing their kids sail free promotion for our cruise. I was able to call and they gave me the promotion price and saved me $740!! I wouldn’t have known I could have done that without this board, so thanks everyone!! I’m looking forward to learning so much more from you all before we sail!

Mr. Candyman reacted to KathyC in What is expedited boarding and how do you get it?
It's completely random. I really believe that. My husband and I sailed on Summit in October - I got it but he didn't. Both of us were checked in using the app and at the same time, both by me. No reason why one would have it and the other not.
Flash forward to our Oasis sailing in December. Same thing. I used the app for check-in, I did them both, and once again I got it but he did not.
I gotta say it was so easy having it - special line and walked through right away.

Martinique is now requiring Passports.

Probably means there are no more spots left but you can always keep checking in case of cancellations or just try the standby line once onboard

No wonder “Doc” had so much free time on the Love Boat. Nobody could afford to see him ?

Mr. Candyman got a reaction from Baked Alaska in MTD time changes
I thought the same thing and was assured by OP's that it wouldn't be the case. When I got onboard all the daily cruise compasses had a later start time but I was able to go in as soon as the MDR opened if I wanted.

No. You can wear flip flops. You are on a mat and your feet are tucked inside the mat.
I've always used the provided rock climbing shoes.

Thank you to those who gave knowledgeable and correct information. I was able to sell my ticket to a last minute traveler who is thrilled to be cruising with RC.

I obviously don't know all the ins and outs on these types of issues but I noticed in your cruise docs that you have a TA. Wouldn't it be better for you to contact your your TA and let them advise you as any changes will still have to done through them. They may even have a client ready to fill the spot if it's a viable option.

Nothing you can do beforehand. Once you are onboard go to the Photo people and have them link your staterooms. Too make it easier to manage, whenever you have photos taken, they will ask what stateroom; so just give the same stateroom number every-time.

Mr. Candyman reacted to CrznTxn in Galveston Cruise Passenger Deaths
It is a sad week for Galveston Cruises. Three passengers from the Carnival Vista were killed in an accident in Belize on Wednesday during a shore excursion when their van was hit head on by another vehicle. A passenger from the Liberty of the Seas was killed during a shore excursion when the van she was riding in lost control and flipped. She was ejected through the front windshield when the van suffered a tire failure and flipped. Other members of her family were also injured in the incident. All five passengers who were killed were from the Dallas area. Please remember these families in your prayers.

Perfect. We should be good then because we very rarely, if ever, get single photos done of the adults. Appreciate tour help. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving.

Mr. Candyman reacted to AshleyDillo in Refundable OnBoard Credit???
All charges are lumped together for your ending balance. Then they apply the non-refundable OBC as a credit first. But yes, you can take out non-refundable OBC through the casino because of the way they process it.

Mr. Candyman got a reaction from MicroBeta in Refundable OnBoard Credit???
I don't ever plan on having that much OBC left over, if anything, because with 6 of us $600 always goes towards gratuities. I know they use non-refundable first so I was just curious if that was able to be taken out via the slots in the casino like the refundable can be. The refundable OBC does go back to the card as you mentioned.

· If you use the cabin safe, put small items in a Ziplock bag so you don’t mistakenly leave them behind
