My daughter pretends to use walkie talkies lately, so I was going to buy her some real ones. I figured they might as well be useful besides her playing with them. Looking for suggestions on ones that work well on the ships. Any suggestions?

I don't think another 100 days is out of the question. I don't think Royal does either based on the offers they are sending to their casino member list. They are sending offers to fill cruises starting on 7/14. Aside from not cruising right now, the cruise industries biggest problem would be to have a nasty outbreak on a ship because they rushed back to cruising. Waiting an extra week, two weeks or a month after this dies down would probably be better than having to suspend operations again because they tried to open up to soon.

I have used the GTY cabin booking twice. First time I was "upgraded" from an interior room to a Central Park View right by the rear elevators on Symphony. Second time my balcony GTY was right next to the forward elevators on Anthem. Both were pretty good in my opinion. If you are not concerned with where you may end up it is a good way to reduce your costs that you can then use for things like excursions or dinner/drink packages.

Yes, I have seen they are mostly anchoring in the same area. They are probably enjoying their self isolation a lot more than we are.

So did I. I have been waiting for a rep on the phone for 50 minutes so far. It has gone from $200 credit to book on board on my last day of my last cruise 2/29/2020, to $50 credit in the week after, to $200 credit after that, and now a free interior stateroom for two. Might as well book it, right? Wonder what the cancellation policy would be.

Had a pack and play on Oasis and it worked fine for my 18 month old who was also in the 90th percentile. I would imagine it would be the same on Symphony.

They gave me a pack and play when I need one in 2017. we took linens for one.

Based on my conversations with the customer service rep I would think everyone who had a bungalow was moved to a bed. That is probably why they are out now. I would be happy with a credit toward my drink package at this point. I am travleing in a group of 8 and a beach bed is kind of pointless for us.

That's what i figured, based on peoples reviews of th eisland saying they were not built yet. It is frustrating to have this happen considering i would have booked a cabana at the pool if i would have known this would even be a possibility five months ago.

I received an email on Friday 6/14 npotifying me that the South Beach bungalow that I ahd reserved back in January was cancelled and being replaced with a beach bed. Has anyone else on here had a similar situation for an upcoming visit there? The person i spoke to at customer service said it wasn't an overbooking situation and that everyones was cancelled. They could only advise me further to email [email protected] for further information. I am waiting for a reply to that.

Hotel Miramar is very close to the port. It sits on top of a hill with great views of the city. it is a short ride to Las Ramblas. Stayed there the night before a cruise four years ago. Would stay again.
