On my five cruises from San Juan Puerto Rico, but all pre-covid, checking is just like all other ports in the 11am to noon range for earliest ones. The ship still arrives around 7 am and begins disembarkation as soon as cleared, have alway been to airport by 10:30 am. Biggest concern from San Juan has been those the check luggage for their flights as most airline will not accept luggage until 4 hours before flight departure. This has been my experiance.

Most likely at a specialty resturant the answer is Yes. Just know the restaurant does have a closing time, around 1:30 I think.

Not saying any of this didn't happen, just I have bee m on group cruies with over 500+ and never seen a problem. Some minor savings, like 5-8 total for a 2 person booking. Passed on saving a dollar $1 on the Unlimkitted coster ride on Labadee. Just not worth the effort for a dollar

Ordering from the MDR menu for anything but dinner will vary from ship to ship. Technically it is only dinner from MDR in Sky class (Oasis & Quantum class ships) or Suite class rest of fleet.. So YMMV depending on ships management

Still not as beneficial as say the Carnival gift cards that can be purchased from AARP or Alstaite at a 10% discount and then be used to pay for cruise or for onboard purchases

But with the post covid addition of another drink voucher, that can be used anytime of the day, as opposed to 3 hours in that tiny room slamming drinks, you have really gained benefits. The fact that they may lock you out during Happy Hour is really inconsequential as long as your allowed in for your morning coffee machine

Deck five has an abundance of large tables seating mostly 6-8. Very few 2 tops, but I would agree that is my preferred deck. Btw is is normally only traditional (early / late) seatings

Only ate in the MDR once. Of course you can be subjective. JMHO but food in Windjammer for dinner is always sub par the an MDR dinner. Not to say I've never had had a bad dish in the MDR, but I have yet to have waiter that will not bring out something else if I'm unhappy or have it remade if I insist on the same dish If you want every meal to be 5 Star you should do specially dining. They definitely will redo anything you're unsatisfied with, anything to make you happy. That's why the waiter position there is so sought after by the crew.

IMHO the really beneficial Suite benefits don't kick in unless you're on an Oasis or Quantum class ship. I've done a Freedom class suite and all the Oasis class ships in grand suites and will not spring for it again on any class without CK and free WiFi
