  1. It was a figure of speech. I wasn't truly saying that you said that. That is just the best option I could come up with.
  2. So what your saying is change your ticket, never cancel it.
  3. What happens if I change the flight at the last minute ro another flight several months in the future? This crazy confusing.
  4. Wow, never thought of that. Just an fyi, it says you can cancel up until flight time. Thanks.
  5. This is a regular fare with free flight changes.
  6. I know you can cancel a Southwest flight up to 10 minutes before departure and get a flight credit but I can't find how long before an American airlines flight you have to cancel and get a credit. Any information would be helpful.
  7. This is way too complicated. I have a new respect for ta's.
  8. I don't believe double points extends to next year. Also, by rebooking onboard I can get the obc back. That's the way I am looking at it. If I am wrong please correct me. I'm trying to find the best way of doing this.
  9. Thanks for the info. The cruise I wanted to move is in May 2023. I will be on a cruise next month so it seems to make better sense in this situation to cancel and rebook on the ship to get the obc back.
  10. I was told by my ta that when you move a reservation you lose the obc. I didn't think you did but that is what I was told. Maybe it's incorrect or the policy was changed. If anyone knows for sure, I would appreciate it. I guess my initial question was unclear. Why move a reservation instead of canceling it and making a new one, if indeed you lose the obc?
  11. There is no change fee, you just lose your deposit of $100 per person if you have a suite, and whatever your room, you lose the obc credit they gave you. I can't see any advantage to moving a reservation as opposed to canceling it. That's why I'm trying to see if I'm missing something.
  12. Why would you move a reservation made onboard instead of just canceling it? If you have a suite, you lose your deposit and even without a suite you lose any obc they gave you. Am I missing something?
  13. It never ceases to amaze and amuse me the crazy infatuation people have with Buc-ee's. I can't help but smile every time I pass it. One of these days I'll get a chance to stop in. I have to get a t-shirt you know.
  14. Quick question. How far out are your cruises? It says to wait until 21 days before applying for credit but I figured you could apply earlier.
  15. I guess I could wait to see if it shows up in the cruise planner. The form just mentions the TA for an updated confirmation, it is not submitted through them.
  16. What email did you use? I just submitted a request and will see if I get a response. My cruise was also booked through a TA and it said the TA would need to send a confirmation, so I'm not even sure I will get a response.
  17. That is true provided they don't go bankrupt. I have stock and many cruises coming up, so I have a lot of money on the line and I am definitely pulling for them. Unfortunately, the economy could get much much worse and they may need to reorganize. Anyone can guess but only time will tell.

Of course the flight I was looking at leaves at 11:15. Such is life. Thanks.

What would be the earliest flight out of Hobby after Leaving Adventure the Monday after Thanksgiving that would be reasonable? We can do self assist departure. Thanks
  20. Or who knows. Maybe bankruptcy wouldn't be the worst thing. They get out of debt and reorganize. It certainly isn't like the ships are going to disappear a cruising will end.
  21. Not a Debbie downer, just reality. I don't think all the cruise lines will make it. I think RC will survive but I'm hoping to avoid bankruptcy.
