  1. Thank you JohnK6504 we did book the Beach Bungalow on Labadee thanks to you’r advice. I did pose the question in an email to Royals excursions a few days before this post-but I was impatient for an answer. They did finally answer me and this was their response if anyone is interested:

Kindly note, when you reserve a Beach Bungalows tour ZL1A, you only need to select and make the reservation under one name. You will not be able to add the rest of your party to the Beach Bungalow before your sailing. However, once you are on board, you will receive a letter in your stateroom that includes your tickets, Beach Bungalow number, and a Beach Bungalow Map to help you locate your Beach Bungalow. At that moment you may provide the tickets to your party.

  2. Hi there going on Harmony on Nov 2022,  I was wondering about booking the bungalow on Labadee, it’s listed as  booking by guest (not package), but it also states can accommodate up to 8 people. Does anyone know if (a) just one person from the party books and don’t list the other people in the party (because when I try to list them, it charges me separately for each one) and (b) if it’s just one person that books how do you get the wristbands for others you want to invite into your bungalow ( like my sister and hubby who are on different reservations)? Thank you in advance for your help!

I saw mentioned somewhere in here about calling back home. I do get the voom package and when in its range I leave my phone on. To make calls or text I use WhatsApp. All my family and friends are instructed to contact me via that only. Any other calls come in  I likely don't want to hear from them anyway... ?

I am definitely going to look into that app, I purchased VOOM for my hubbys cell because he would never be able to go that long without streaming his news. That app will be perfect for our kiddos back home to stay in touch!

“Take a flat iron (hair) even if you don't need it.  Traditional irons are not allowed, but hair flat irons are.  The beauty of a flat iron is you can use it like a traditional iron for shirts and pants.  I don't take downy release because I take a flat iron.  Look at a flat iron, and you can see how you can use it to iron out wrinkles in the sleeves of a shirt, or crease the pant legs.  It takes up little room, and you don't need to worry about any liquids leaking on your clothes.”

I never thought of this ?

My husband and I are going on this same cruise May 5-17!!  We are so excited!  I had already read several of these tips but am seeing some new ones to make note of.  We are flying in to Honolulu 5/4 and spending the night in a hotel so we can have an extra day on Oahu.  It is literally like next week!

I know I am so excited!!!! We are coming in from the Northeast and our first flight is 5/4 coming in to Seattle. Then we have a hotel overnight and in the morning start the next flight to Honolulu. We aren’t coming in until noon 5/5 but Its not like we have to worry about departure until next day! Maybe we will see you aboard!!!!

That close, how can you sit still? Are you planning to get to the port the day before you board? That's what we do on all of our cruises.:27_sunglasses:

Actually we are flying in that day but we are overnight on Oahu that first night , don’t set sail until the next day. Has anyone ever done this, do you know if they would hold the muster drill the first day on board or the next day before we set sail?

Forgot to mention this before, check this link out. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/cruise-ships/radiance-of-the-seas/deck-plans/1829/02. Deck plans for the Radiance, study them before you get on board. That way you will know where everything you are interested is once you board the ship. Some folks like the idea of wandering around aimlessly looking for a particular place. I prefer not spending my cruise time like that.

Bring a highlighter. Every night your cabin attendant will place a copy of the Cruise Compass on your bed. The Cruise Compass has all of the next days activities, shows, etc. listed. We highlight those we are interested in. Take a look at the Cruise Compass heading at the top of the page and you can see exactly what this thing is.  When is your cruise? :27_sunglasses:

May 5-17 coming up so fast!

  8. We are going on our very first cruise On Royal Radiance of the Seas 12 night Hawaii- Vancouver. We already purchased the Unlimited Dining and Deluxe Drink Package. You guys have had fantastic information and I really appreciate all of your input and ideas. I saw an idea somewhere to store your empty luggage under the bed, an invaluable tip, so I got to thinking, I would love to know all of your favorite cruise hacks/ tips?
