To go from a JS-GS on a ship without the Royal Suite Class program?  I would probably pay no more than $300-400 extra.

To add to my above post, I forgot to put "total".  I would pay no more than $300-400 total.  Definitely not per person on non-O and Q class.

It does vary by ship as @twangster mentioned and it is never advertised in the literature.  At least I have never seen it advertised in any of the sailings that I've been on.  Usually, the invite shows up in your cabin.

Highly variable by ship.  If interested ask the Suite Concierge when staying in GS or above.

I always use the parking garage. The only advice is to arrive early as the traffic lines will back up as the day goes on. The port has a huge amount of employees out directing traffic. They will hold up traffic in order to keep the front of the terminal moving along safely...cars dropping off and cars picking up...pedestrians crossing.
After you pull up and drop off your checked bags to the porter, pull around the bend and into the parking garage. A machine will issue a parking ticket and the gate will go up. An attendant will hand you the ticket and tell you where to park. Other attendants will direct you up the ramp. I try to park on the second level (the first available) so that I won’t have to wait in line for the one and only elevator on disembarkation day. It’s quicker for me to walk up one flight (luckily I can carry my bags up). Park and take your keys. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THE PARKING TICKET WITH YOU! Do NOT leave it in the car. You’ll need it to pay before you go back to your car.
On disembarking...after you pass through customs and leave the terminal (to the right) you will see the pay machines right by the entrance to the parking terminal. There will be attendants standing there to help. Some machines only take cash, so make sure you don’t waste time standing in a cash only line if you’re paying with a credit card. The attendant will show you how to put your parking ticket in and then your credit card. The machine will issue you a parking stub which you will need to get out of the lot, and a receipt. Don’t forget your credit card.
When you drive down the ramp to the exit, you will need to insert the parking stub into the machine which will raise the barrier. Again, there will be an attendant there to help. Then...you’re on your way!
This is probably more specific information than you need...but it pretty much covers all!
    Enjoy your cruise!

Yes you can certainly still use MEI.  I don't have an agent that lives near me either.  We communicate through email, phone calls or text messages.

That is correct a bad experience with a different agency. I have never used MEI before. I’ve heard great things about them from Matt as well as others.

I tried to search but didn't find much (maybe user error), but is there somewhere I can find the MDR menu for sailings?  Similar to the specialty dining and cruise compass options on the homepage.  More specifically I would love to see the MDR menu for Allure and Mariner.

    Thanks!!!!

@hsweat22 and @Hoski Look at the fifth post down on @Lovetocruise2002's live blog here from her March 2018 sailing. She gives a VERY DETAILED and excellent review on the guided tours. I'd think it may be a bit much for younger children, but it appears to be a great tour.

Thanks. Yes, it includes transportation and admission. To see what the excursion entails, just click on the item and it'll give you an overview.

Yes.  I've used it on Anthem and Ovation recently.  You can iMessage to other Apple users (blue), even those back home on land.  Text messages (green) to non-Apple devices won't work.
You'll also get notifications such as news or weather alerts if you have apps that provide those but if you tap a notification the app can't load the content without a paid Voom plan.

I think if you really want St. Thomas that you should think about a different ship because there really is no guarantee it will make it there with its current Azipod problems.. And I don't think you are being a complainer. I think you are being smart and proactive.

Fair warning....please no political discussions here. It's a no-win and you'll never convince others of your opinion. Let's keep the bickering to whether or not the drink package or The Key is worth it!

But anyways...its always going to be political with Cuba..when it comes to anything. Again, I am surprised this charade lasted as long as it did.

The new app called Royal. If your sailing is still a ways off then it won’t show up in your actual sailing. But you can go in the app and select the ship and then select an upcoming sail to view this info. Thanks
  22. Thanks
hsweat22 reacted to spiralqueen in MDR Menu
It's in the main royal app that has your reservation. Even if your sailing is too far out for info to be available on it, you can see menus and schedules for other sailings. On the main screen where it says "Select your sailing" and has your cruises listed, scroll below that and underneath "link a missing reservation" there is the option for "get more details on ships we support". Tap on that and then select your ship and either a current sailing or one that is about to happen. Once the sailing loads, select the little cruise ship icon at the top (other icons will be a calendar and a person) and then select the second icon which is a knife and fork for dining. The second tab is "Main dining" and you should be able to see the menu which is between "find on deck" and the greyed out "reserve now" bar.
I hope that helps! I made a screen recording of it, but the Royal app is weird and doesn't highlight the things that you select before loading them so it's not super helpful.

i knew about the only dinner thing, but not about the “only if space available”. Wonder why it’s listed on my cruise planner and will let me get all the way too checkout?  Thanks for the heads up though!
