They deserve it so much and their paychecks depend on us! ???????❤️? Happy 4th of July! Honeymoon 2020 is going to be that much more amazing. RCC seriously gained a fan for life with this one!

I guess what I'm having difficulty with us why people are so irate.  They knew it was a mistake and they are infuriated that it won't be honored.  I get that RC initially said they would, and that it's annoying....another reason for us to shake our heads at the IT department and how the different departments aren't talking.  But I'm not going to stop cruising royal like some people are threatening.  Good grief.  This company was immensely fair over my Cuba trip and this drink thing doesn't remotely impact my experience on the ships.  Wish people would get a little perspective.  Jane

I think everyone knew this was a pricing mistake from the moment it was spotted, especially if you have been following drink package prices.
I bought it at the $18/day rate for a couple sailings knowing full well it was a mistake and very likely refunded. Like they say in the lotto business, cant win if you don't play!

Just purchased our ULTRA Deluxe Beverage Package (I added the ULTRA), now 6 hours after the original post. I chose not to use OBC, just in case they screwed that up, too.

I am far less upset about not getting the rate (disappointed, sure. I mean, who doesn't like an outrageously good deal!) than I am about their whole way of dealing with it. The reps made promises they had no business making and the mistake was live for at least 4 hours - probably longer. As someone who has worked in IT, Customer Service and IT Customer Service (call center help desk rep for a major financial institution), the response would have gotten people reprimanded or fired. You don't make promises you can't keep nor do you leave a mistake like that up for hours on end. At least turn purchasing off and direct people to call in for those purchases where they can be told it is a mistake.

They are only experts in law if they stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Nothing on this end either.  I'm with @twangster -- there's a lot of number crunching this morning with #2 pencil's ..... weighing the pros and cons to come up with, "What do we do now" scenario's........ We're all praying that they honor it, but not going to go crazy if they don't (although we all know there will be "those" people that will cry foul and become instant legal experts.

Same here, my fiancé and I aren't huge drinkers but we felt like this was a good deal so we booked it for our honeymoon cruise. It's a shame that they haven't shut down the site or made any announcements. Seems like they are back pedaling from confirming the price stands on multiple media accounts and deleting those comments now. It's just shady all around.

Just being realistic when I say that I expect it to be canceled. This has happened many times with Amazon and other companies. People's memories are short. The big difference, as @BunnyHutt noted, is that other companies corrected their error as soon as they found out about it.

Still showing as reduced price in my cruise planner. So many ways they could have stopped this after they realized what was going on (I mean, how many times have you been thrown an error message when trying to get on the site?), but yet they haven’t. 
I honestly don’t care if they cancel my pkg as I’m not a big drinker, but shame on RC for having this still up if they’re planning on not honoring them.
