There are 2 threads about this already.  It happened, nobody knows why, comp was increased to a free cruise with Drink package.

Managed to get it for £46pppn for our transatlantic next autumn, happy days.

A fun fact about Jewel we learned last November. We did the All Access Tour on a sea day. During our time in the engine control room , the engineer on watch told us (and rather proudly), Jewel is the hot rod of the entire Royal Caribbean fleet. She's capable of a maximum speed of 29 knots....... that translates to around 33 mph.

I found the cinema on Jewel to be a big plus. I enjoyed multiple movies there during sea days. 

I'm just going to say I am the biggest fan of the MDR experience.  I love it soup to nuts!  
I organized a group of 18 with mostly adults but a 4 or so under 16.  They put us all together at a very long table off to the side.  They even had the table marked with a big reserved sign on it with my name which was a nice touch.  However it wasn't as great as it could have been, but it was all our fault.  Sometimes we were not all there right on time, people would move around based on whatever conversation was going on - it was a tiny bit chaotic.  Taking the order of 18 people took quite a long time and inevitably someone would want to change their order by the end of the process.  Dinner was slow and clunky - again all our fault.
We did it again the following year and did multiple tables of either 6 or 8 and had a much better experience.  So my two cents is get a couple of tables instead of trying to act as one big party.

We had 12 of us on a cruise once.  They put 2 tables next to each other to accommodate us.  We rotated seats at each dinner to be able to visit with different people.  As you usually only have conversations with the people near/next to you.  It worked great.

We have a large group joining on this cruise either 10 or 15 depending on one family. My wife and I did our honeymoon on Briliance's sister ship Jewel. 

Vintages during the day is a nice place to work, or out on the Royal Promenade. 

The card room on Harmony doubles as the internet café.

I thought this was going to be about botox or some lipo.  Not *that* kind of work.

Congratulations. Now your cruises from now on got more expensive. Hard to go back to a interior once you had a balcony. Well in my experience it has.

If and that is a BIG "IF" is an extra $400 worth it for a JS? My only fear is that if I ever do get a JS, I'll never want to go back! 🤣 That's already happened with a inside cabin. I always used to book a inside cabin. I decided to try a outside balcony once and have never ever booked an inside cabin again. That's the fear if I keep moving up in room class 🤣🤣🤣

FINALLY! An on board auction I would actually attend for the entertainment value alone!

As an additional potential revenue stream, I would definitely pay for a ticket to watch this auction happen.

Maybe on embarkation day they’ll just gather everyone who’s interested in upgrading inside Boleros or similar venue and hold a bidding war like the art auctions. “How much am I bid for this two bedroom Grand Suite? Going once! Going twice!…SOLD!..to the inebriated deluxe-drink-package-holder who doesn’t realize what he’s just done and his wife is going to be a soooo pisssssed!”🥴
