Would jeans be allowed in coastal kitchen?

Thank you for the response. I should be more clear that we are doing Alaska cruise and the ports I am thinking about doing this are Skagway, Juneau and Victoria Island. Would the answers change given that we are in the US and Canada? Thanks!

Will we be able to ask our concierge to pack some lunch/snacks for us to bring to excursions? For one day the ship docks at noon, and on other days the ship docks in the morning. Or are we allowed to bring Ziploc bags and pack food from restaurants on our own? Assuming this is allowed, and you have done it, what has worked well for you? Thank you!

Hi, our family of 4 (2 adults + 13-year-old twins) are sailing on Ovation later this month to Alaska and have booked the Grand Suite. This is our very first cruise so we are very excited! A couple of questions: 1. We heard that other than the Coastal Kitchen, suite members can also have breakfast at Chop - is that true? Are there other restaurants (in addition to MDR, Windjammer, Coastal Kitchen) that we will have access to? Do they enforce dress code at Coastal Kitchen? Does my son really need to bring slacks? 2. We did not purchase a drink package, and heard that suite guests will have access to free drinks at a bar next to the Coastal Kitchen (Suite Lounge?). Can someone tell us how that works? Is it only limited time or all day? We wanted to make sure that we don't accidentally order drinks that are not free and get charged. 3. Do we have priority access to on-board activities such as iFly? 4. What time do evening shows start? My husband usually goes to bed by 10:00 and we want to book dinner at the right time so we can enjoy the show after dinner without it being too late. 5. The ship is scheduled to arrive Seattle at 6:00am on the last day, and our flight leaves at 11:40am. Would we have time to have breakfast before leaving the boat? 6. If we prepay gratuity, does not mean we are not expected to tip at all on ship? Thank you!

Can we check in all luggage and only keep one or two backpacks with us while waiting for the stateroom to be ready?

We will be cruising for the first time to Alaska! Our ship (Ovation) will depart at 4:00pm from Seattle. What time should we go to the port? We are in GS and have access to coastal kitchen. From reading some suggested that we can have lunch on ship. Should we arrive before noon and are we allowed wonder around the ship after lunch? Can kids (13 year old) check out and play in the teens room early? We will be in Seattle a week prior to the embarkation day and I suspect we will be ready to board the ship as soon as they let us!
