You do not have to purchase a pass to get off the ship and enjoy the island. As others have said get off and take a walk around. I am sure you will find a spot to enjoy!

Just relax. I always say if I forget something I probably didn't need it anyway.

I haven't seen it mentioned yet but on return you can bring your car down to level one in the garage before exiting and pick up your luggage right next to the machines where you pay. They have a designated spot just for this. I left the DW to watch the luggage and I went to get the car.

As you turn into the terminal area, there are workers directing traffic and they’ll point you to a spot to drop off your luggage with a waiting handler. Then pull forward to the entrance of the parking garage. An attendant will hand you a ticket with the advice to ‘not leave it in the car…you’ll need it to pay before you go back into the garage’. Then you park and as soon as you walk out of the garage, the terminal entrance is steps away.
Super easy as Brian B says above! Just got off Anthem this morning. It is exactly as stated. It does get a little busy around 12 on embarkation day. Cost for a seven day cruise is $175.

I am not sure how often the bus goes. But be aware it is at least an hour ride from the port to Disney. So I would say probably only one bus time.

Yes we are on the April 10th sailing.

We are booked on that same excursion with you and have the same questions. The description says lunch is included. Unless they are serving lunch at 1030 I would guess we will be there past 12.
We figure we will at least check out the island even if we don't have much beach time. See you there.

Anyone know what is going on in Port Canaveral with shore excursions? I have booked 4 different excursions and all have been cancelled. As well others that had been sold out are cancelled as well.

Well, we'll find out. We've booked the Blue Lagoon Island DELUXE Beach Break on our Jan. 28 sailing on Mariner. the description mentions a 30-40 min. scenic boat ride through historic Nassau Harbor on a double-decker ferry. Arriving at the Island, take a soothing swim in the calm lagoon, float on an inner tube or lay on the beach with the white sand between your toes. Enjoy a double hammock for you and visit the Island Bar and enjoy one of the local specialty drinks. Complete your day at the beach with a stop at the animal facility, where you can see dolphins and sea lions at play in their natural habitat. It also offers a complimentary lunch: After a relaxing day on the beach, satisfy your hunger with a tasty grilled picnic lunch.
How was the excursion?

Don't forget to reserve the ifly and Northstar as soon as you board. The slots fill up very quickly.

I will typically prepay my gratuities because I like to not have a bill upon return home. But we also will bring cash with us to tip the porters and shore excursion folks a few dollars. We also give extra to anyone who goes above and beyond for us. On Anthem we had an amazing waiter who actually came and found us in the hallway with some cookies that just came out of the oven. He was over the top all week. We felt he absolutely deserved an extra tip!
Enjoy your sailing and welcome to the boards.

Most people's GPS isn't working on the cruise, either by design or by choice. Are you suggesting they triangulate your location based on wifi routers in the area?
Don't care how or if it works. Just something that I thought would be fun to have. Didn't know I had to create the feature as well.

I think it would be nice to have a "You are here" on the deck maps like they do near the elevators on the big screens with other ship info.

I seemed legitimate. We had some seniors in our group and they got the cc every night. Although they had a different room attendant. We did request it and it came every night after. I am not quite to the AARP age yet still have 2 more to go.
-
I was on Anthem around Thanksgiving and was told by the room attendant that you could request it to be delivered to your room each night. She said they have only been bringing it to senior citizen cabins since the restart.

Can someone help me understand please. I am looking at the Optum and Emed websites. They both show a differently boxed test. Can someone verify the correct test to buy through Emed as they seem to have newer production dates available.

My last two cruises on Anthem we had to request them to be delivered. But when we sailed Odyssey they came every night automatically. I don't care what they say "everything" is not on the app!
