As you type this on your phone.
Not sitting at a table with friends and I am definitely not 11 years old

I often wonder how we adults ever survived adolescence. My kids didn't even have cell phones till they where 15. It really amazes me every time we cruise how many phones are at the table and nobody is talking with one another.

I will be going on a cruise in August with my 2 kids. My son will only be 11 and so it says he can't use the chat feature. How do I communicate with him? Any advice is appreciated.
Talk to him! Put the phones away and communicate with each other! Set up a schedule so you both know what is going on and check in occasionally. Can go to far on a ship.

The Fence Repair - Australian style !!!
Three contractors are bidding to fix a broken fence
at Government House.
One is from Cabramatta, another is from
Marrickville, and the third is from Lane Cove.
All three go with an official to examine the fence.
The Cabramatta contractor takes out a tape measure
and does some measuring, then works some figures
with a pencil.
"Well," he says, "I figure the job will run about $900,
$400 for materials, $400 for my crew and $100 profit
for me."
The Marrickville contractor also does some measuring
and figuring, then says, "I can do this job for $700.
That's $300 for materials, $300 for my crew and $100
profit for me."
The Lane Cove contractor doesn't measure or figure,
but leans over to the government official and whispers,
"$2,700."
The official, incredulous, says, "You didn't even measure
like the other guys. How did you come up with such a
high figure?"
The Lane Cove contractor whispers back, "$1000 for me,
$1000 for you, and we hire the guy from Marrickville to
fix the fence."
"Done!" Replies the government official.

Thanks for the clarification. I was trying to get a specialty coffee and they told me that the benefit had already been used on my wife's card. So we where only able to get one at 50% off. Thanks again.

Are these offers per stateroom or per person? Last sailing we where told it was per stateroom.
Would like to try and clarify. We are both emerald.

If you have never been to Port Canaveral you should at a minimum take the bus to down town and check out Cocoa Beach and the area.

We did Blue Lagoon beach break with lunch in April. It was just ok. Glad we did it but probably won't do it again. It was nice to walk around and see the island, sea creatures etc... Definitely not enough time as it was only 4 hours including the ferry ride to and from Nassau.

Best way is to shut the phone off, put it in the safe, grab a drink and enjoy life!

Been to C.C. 5 times now and have never had a problem finding a couple lounge chairs next to each other. We even get up and change beaches throughout the day and always find available seating.

@cruisecouple I would go for the emed at home tests. I've several times had last minute issues crop up with testing through either CVS or my doctors office and used the emed tests that I had as backup. Now I'm just using them as my go to option. Make sure to have a couple spares just in case there is an issue with one. There's enough time to order them now and then you can have a testing party
This is hands down the easiest and most stress free way to go!

I always use the RCL transfer bus. Never had an issue with it.

Another option is to send an email about 2 weeks before sailing with your booking #, ship, sailing date, cabin # and your request to
rcldinning@rccl.com
I have had excellent results
This is how we do any requests in the dining room. Waiter, location, numbers at the table. Always had great luck
