  1. My wife has brought hers for years with no problem
  2. I have one on my car. Bought a couple of years ago on the Navigator of the Seas.
  3. The Liberty is $20.00 per day ($140.00 per cruise) for 1 device at a time for unlimited email. If you are Diamond Plus there is an $80.00 coupon you can use.
  4. TA's can get you more onboard credit, prepaid gratuities or some other perks.
  5. I have one in my toilet kit that I bring all the time. I do not carry on or have in my carry on backpack. Just put in suitcase and should be there when you receive them.
  6. I have always received my points by Friday evening after I got off the ship the previous Sunday. That is not bad. There are many passengers getting off of 23 or so ships. You can go to the Loyalty Ambassador and tell them what you have earned and they will take care of it. You should talk to them the previous week if you are due something the next week on a b2b so they can confirm if needed. It usually works out.
  7. Speaking just for us, yes. There have been some things taken away, but some things I did not care about losing, like midnight buffet, gifts in rooms and such. But since our first cruise in 2004 until now it is all good. We are Diamond Plus and will be Pinnacle next year, so what we have lost we will or have gained over the years, like free Wi-Fi, 3 1/2 hours of happy hour each evening, special eating places and lounges and the little things that we have earned and enjoy. We have done many cruises, but most out of Galveston to avoid the air and extra cost. We have done 6 transatlantic crossings. We will have done the Navigator 18 times come next month. As soon as we make Pinnacle we will start going on more far away places because we will be allowed to get into more venues on the ships and take advantage of more things without being told we are not allowed in. I think getting to know the crew real well has helped a lot. The more experienced one gets with cruising the more people, passenger and/or crew, you now and that makes it fun in that you have more people you sail with a lot and can share stories and events while on board. .
  8. I wonder where Pinnacles fit into.
  9. It is not Carnival that is being pulled out. It is Princess (which is under the Carnival Umbrella) and NCL. They will be there for the Spring and then that is it. To long a distance to come from Houston Ship Channel to the Gulf. You probably new not Carnival, but just typed what you were thinking.
  10. The Liberty is between 90' to 95' longer than the Navigator. It will be able to make the 180 degree turn. The problem is the terminal size. The current terminal has a hard time handling the passengers that get off/on the Navigator so with the additional passengers on Liberty it will be a challenge. Hopefully the new terminal will be complete by 11/13/15 when the Liberty comes to town or shortly after that or by the end of the dry dock..
  11. There will be no cruises out of Galveston on RCCL from 1/10/16 to 2/7/16.
  12. It will probably be done in the Bahamas, that is where the nearest dry dock is. That was where the Navigator went Jan 2014. It will sail for two months out of Galveston then dry dock for January of 2016 and then back to Galveston with all the new bells and whistles. :P
  13. Please add the Navigator of the Seas for 9/20/15. Thanks
  14. I did this while booking a cruise and by signing the form the TA was not attached to it.
  15. Do you think there will come a time when RCCL will have a ship that just makes10 day or so crossings. Maybe a couple of stops along the way. Those of us that really enjoy sea days would love it. You could go back and forth as many times as you liked. If you did 2 crossings you could fly/drive home from the same port you started. Not sure if there would be a market for this but the QE seems to do ok.
  16. Hello Matt, I have a correction and some more to add please: For Liberty on 12/13/15 you show 12/31/15 and should be 12/13/15 Liberty of the Seas - 4/3/16. 4/10/16, 8/28/16, 9/18/16 (Become Pinnacle) Harmony - 10/23/16 Thanks
  17. I was on board once and simply signed a form to eliminate the TA from this booking and it was done. They had no involvement in it and of course I received no pre paid gratuities and on board credit from them.
  18. For those of you who have become Pinnacle members, can you tell me if you were on any ship to receive it or you went to a specific ship. Which ships make the biggest deal out of welcoming new Pinnacle members. Thanks
  19. Hello Matt, please add 3 more to my list. All 3 on Liberty of the Seas - 2/7/16 2/14/16 2/21/16 Thanks for keeping the list.
  20. Mat, would you please add 5/10/15 - Navigator 10/4/15 - Navigator- 12/6/15 - Liberty and 12/13/15 Liberty for Sulross. Thanks
  21. It may be old news to some, but shortly RCCL will be splitting into two separate departments on board ships the Future Cruise and Crown and Anchor departments. One or two people will not handle everything. There will be one or two people on the ship to handle one department and different people to handle the other. Should be better and more efficient for the cruiser.
  22. Matt for the Nov 15 I am on the Liberty the 1st and 13th and not the Navigator. Thanks
  23. They just announced they are raising the gratuity amount from 15% to 18% for the unlimited alcohol packages
  24. I like bringing the ships to Galveston. Have brought the last 4 in. This time I do not have to fly to another country to do so. To convenient when you live near Houston
  25. NAVIGATOR OF THE SEAS - 2/15/15 NAVIGATOR OF THE SEAS - 5/17/15 NAVIGATOR OF THE SEAS - 9/27/15 NAVIGATOR OF THE SEAS - 10/4/15 LIBERTY OF THE SEAS - 11/1/15 LIBERTY OF THE SEAS - 11/13/15 There will probably be at least two more this year, but not booked as of yet.
