No we both have drink packages, my husband drinks faster than I. I was told on more than one occasion that it is a time limit. They can not scan your card back to back.

If we are both sitting at the bar why not. Maybe some bartenders are lenient. They will give a drink but they will not scan your card unti the required time. If the bartender knows you and you are a regular, they will give a drink . That is the rule

You may have gotten your cruise line mixed up, on Royal there is a time interval between drinks.

What's not true? Every time we cruised we were told by the bartenders they can not scan your card to soon , or it my result in a charge. We have cruised in the last 2 years as of last June. We have had the drink package, My husband and I would take turns using each others card, because he wanted to have a another drink or beer before time. He drinks faster than I do. ? You can get a water with your drink , but you can not order back to back drink until 15 minutes. We were different ships.

There is a 15 minute time limit between drinks, the bartender will not swipe your card until then, if you have the drink package. Or your might get charged if its earlier than that.

No I haven't seen it cheaper than $49, Were going on a 9 day cruise in June. Waiting to if the sale price changes. Hopeful

Were you able to get a discounted price for the Drink package. Just curious because were were on the Freedom last year and paid $700 for 2. This year on a 9 night cruise, they are charging $1000.
