  1. Thank you @tonyfsu21 Exactly what I was looking for.
  2. Are there any exclusive, pay only areas on Labadee like there are on PDCC? Trying to determine what areas are accesible and if there are areas with more shade than others. We were to late to purchase a bungalow and trying to decide if a cabana is worth it for just 2 people.
  3. I have a 1/5/23 cruising on Oasis and reservations for entertainment hasn’t appeared yet on our planner.
  4. We stay at the Miami Hyatt near the port. Many shops and restaurants within walking distance. We enjoy walking to Bayfront Park for a drink and a bite to eat once we arrive. https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/hotel/florida/hyatt-regency-miami/miarm
  5. When we first visited Alaska we went on a cruise the last week of May. We disembarked on the Friday before Memorial Day. We had fabulous weather with little to no rain. We understood it to be very unusual by all the Alaskan residents. Wildlife was not effected as we saw plenty, to include a bear and many whales. If you are interested in the Salmon run, May is not for you. A few years later we went back to Alaska and toured on our own by train, bus and car the Middle to end of August, which is Alaska's fall. We had some nice sunny, cool days and some rainy, foggy days but all of them added to our experience. The mountains were lush and green when we went in August and the Salmon run was fascinating to observe. We fly fished, and the opportunity to snag a Salmon or two was outstanding.
  6. Exactly what I was looking for. Searched Royal but couldn’t find! Thanks so much!
  7. Since Royal recently released the newest Alaska itineraries (2024), have they posted a release schedule for all other itineraries?
  8. Well said. I couldn't agree more. Policies should be written so that they leave no question for those who have to follow them.
  9. But those countries only require testing for the unvaccinated. If you are vaccinated it appears you fall under the new blanket policy of no testing, even with itineraries with stops in those countries.
  10. We just sailed to Hawaii and Maui was our first port. We all had to go through immigration because it was our first US port, although done on the ship. When we disembarked in Oahu, just a few days later, we did not have to go through immigration. We grabbed our luggage from the area where they were placed and walked out the door. I liked the easy disembarkation at our final stop which no longer included immigration. It will take a while. Sleep in and catch the end of the line!
  11. On my cruise planner it specifically lists the ships available. Hoping it is not limited to Holiday but instead just the ships and that bookings for our sailing’s entertainment opens soon.
  12. A hotel I stayed at recently did something very similar. They walked around and placed a laminated paper size notice clipped to the top of the lounger with the time. Then they went back and grabbed all the ones still remaining on the chairs when the time expired. At this hotel though, you were not responsible for your towels, monetary wise like you are on the ship, but it was a great solution. They could use the notices over and over since they were laminated and they could just erase the time for the next time they used them.
  13. There is a description of fully vaccinated contained here on their website https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/will-i-have-to-take-a-test-before-i-cruise
  14. It looks like according to the RC website you are considered fully vaccinated and will need no pre cruise testing. For Cruises from North America and the Caribbean (U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada, and Barbados) Vaccinated guests do not need to take a test for sailings of 9 nights or fewer. On sailings of 10 nights or longer, fully vaccinated guests age 12 and older will need to bring a negative test result for a COVID-19 test within 3 days before boarding day. Guests age 12 and up who are not vaccinated have 3 days to take a test before their cruise, regardless the duration of the cruise. Guests under the age of 12, do not need to take a test prior to cruising. Required testing can be completed using any type of PCR or antigen COVID-19 test. It can be professionally proctored at your doctor or drugstore, or it can be a test you administer to yourself at home without supervision. Tests must be arranged on your own and are at your own expense. Please note: A guest is considered fully vaccinated 14 days after the required number of doses in their vaccine series have been fully administered (e.g. 2 shots of Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, etc., or 1 shot of Johnson & Johnson). Vaccines must be approved for use by the WHO or U.S. FDA, with the exception of CanSino. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/will-i-have-to-take-a-test-before-i-cruise
  15. @Castle Cruiser are you flying to Knoxville? We are also flying at 1145 and prefer that because it flies through Charlotte. Our flight was changed in Charlotte with a quick connection but I am not worried about that in Charlotte.
  16. @censored where are you cruising to and how long are you cruising? Does it begin and end in Puerto Rico?
  17. I have a set of 6 I bought for this cruise and upcoming one in January. But to be honest, I’m not even complaining about that. We leave 10/3 and I feel like I can enjoy the bulid up again!!
  18. Our tests can now be 3 days in advance and can be an at home, not proctored test. You can show a picture of it or have it in hand however you prefer. The below is from the email I just received.
  19. The website has been updated to reflect new Canadian testing protocols beginning October 1 to be the same as US ports basically. Anyone used a non proctored test and taken a picture? How did check in go? We leave October 3, from Canada on 10 day cruise. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/the-healthy-sail-center/getting-ready-to-cruise?fbclid=IwAR1QL2aNqHN7q6zSnjT_dduEq-ks5lTFfLqJriK6kyG0eG8XRlk7qmNvsMQ
  20. I second the Chacchoben ruins in Costa Maya. A nice developed set of ruins than I expected.
  21. We are 1/5/23 on Oasis and our unlimited dining just became reservable. 3 day was reservable for a while but unlimited didn’t even appear and then when it did appear you were unable to book because it would give you an odd message not allowing booking. I just booked it about 5 days ago.
  22. This just out. Now we await Royal’s notice. We sail on October 3 for 10 days but if Royal updates their requirement at least it will be a non proctored test!!
  23. When my sailing was about 10 days away, the App showed all the activities and showtimes in the daily calendar. Even included each days "Drink of the Day".
