Sapphire Beach - St Thomas

I have heard on some other sites that Sapphire Beach amenities have been updated since the hurricane. Anyone been there recently and what are your thoughts? Just looking for a relaxing beach day, drinks and food! I have been to Magens Bay before, looking to try something different this time on St. Thomas. All recommendations welcome!

I will be going on the Symphony in a few weeks out of Miami - do you all recommend scheduling a car to pick-up, a shuttle, an uber to the airport after the cruise or are there taxi's waiting at the port for transportation? I have not been to the Miami port before!
