@Bob_KY I right there with you! Since I wanted to see some of Seattle before we cruise we are there two days earlier with plans to explore. We won’t talk about preparing to leave work for 13 days. I'm trying not to stress about it but holy cow. I understand why RC is doing this but it doesn’t take the stress of it away.

We just saved $346 on next months cruise. Thank you!!! I emailed my wonderful TA Kelley but she was getting a totally different number, hers was way higher. I sent a screenshot and she sent a screenshot, same cruise, two totally different cost! She still submitted the form and I now have $346 OBC. It took about 15 minutes, crazy fast.

@cruisellama I think you missed my update I paid for first class seats and on my longest leg got bumped to coach, not sure how Delta can do that but they did.

Sitting here on the phone waiting for Delta to answer. Delta has changed our flight to Seattle that leaves in 32 days. Delta has totally changed our layover from JFK to DWT By doing this we are still in first class CLT to DWT but from DWT to SEA we are in coach and are not even sitting anywhere near each other!! For you frequent flyers is that normal and how is that allowed if I paid for a first class ticket? I checked Delta and our original flight is still available but FC is sold out. I booked this a month ago and chose our seats, why/how can Delta do this? @twangsteryou seemed to fly Delta a lot, has this happen to you?

Wow I understand a bit. We had a long and awesome Med Cruise booked with a bit of a land tour for 2020.

When I was diagnosed with COVID and during the whole time I had it I never ran a fever (they had my husband keep checking my temps). The other two in my office that got it also never ran a fever. My sister who got it did run a very low grade fever, I think it was a tad over, like 99?

Currently we (James and I) have 7 points Here is what I currently have booked: August 27th 2021 ~ 7 night cruise booked a GYT Suite so 28 points each May 05th 2022 ~ 8 night cruise booked a Jr Suite so 32 points each August 13th 2022 ~ 8 night cruise booked a OV Balcony so 16 points each So if my math above is correct we will have 83 points at the end of our cruise in August 2022. With that being said we will be Diamond, right? Did I calculate wrong, just seems very easy with RC's double point promo. My 22 year old daughter does not get that by default right, just children under 18?

I looked at COSTCO, they offer a really nice "shop card" and some other perks. I did booked a very pricey Europe cruise with RC on my own in 2019. What a headache. Than 2020 happen I love the advice on this site so I took it and signed up with MEI. Poor Kelley got stuck with me. She is on vacation right now, did not know, but still took the time to answer my questions. ? I have not regretted it and have really enjoyed her help and guidance. I'm in the process of trying to get my family and friends to book with her.

@Lovetocruise2002 @twangster thank you both. We fly Delta or Southwest for vacations. Currently my husband has to fly American for work. Like staying loyal to RC I'd like to stay loyal to an airline to benefit from the miles. Our sailing to Alaska next month we are flying Delta and I plan on using them for our next two cruises.

@Lovetocruise2002do you still get sky miles thru Delta when booking Air2Sea?

Our next cruise I'm planning for is 05/05/22 Alaska. I've looked at the excursions and wrote down the ones that really impress me and their cost so I can track the prices. On our cruise this August I've booked everything so I just check to make sure the price does not go lower than what I've already paid. Like @FionaMG said just look at the bottom line, RC math is worst than Core Math.

I'm still in the phase of what itinerary looks best to me then I glance at the ship that going to take me there. I just need the ship to serve good food, be clean and have a decent place to sleep/shower.

@Poochwe are in the same boat as you point wise not retirement wise. I used up my husbands two weeks a year vacation, I on the hand have 6 weeks (been with my company 20+ years). We will be 11 points away. Would me going on a cruise without hubby, thus I get to Diamond level, give him that level by marriage?

That's a great idea if you want the space but with my luck we'd be in deck 13 and my daughter on deck 6. Thank you for the screenshot it really breaks it down.

@sk8erguy1978what is the 2 for 1 staterooms for Royal Up? I tried google but nothing showed. We have two Jr Suites booked for our May 5th 2022 Alaska sailing on Ovation. Does that mean we could possible Royal Up both staterooms for the price of one Royal Up bid? Thanks!
