A lot of the times it depends on your server. Fist day of the cruise I was at Giovanni's it was by the book and got to chatting with the waiter and left him a tip. A few nights later he was saying whatever you want you can order it no worries. The only thing I did order was a half order of the Carbonara to see how they made and compare it to other places. The portions are so big that you never have to worry about being hungry. You can always ask your server and the worst they can say is no you are not allowed to order. The thing with the UDP its a lot of food over your 7 days especially if you have the lunches on sea days too.

Same thing happened to me when they moved our cruise from Allure to Wonder they refunded our package and would not honour the pricing. Drink package is 28$ more per day and that adds up on a 14 day cruise. Your lucky you got some onboard credit for the trouble.

Appropriate Attire? (Not dining related!)
KenCP replied to SaveTheSharks's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Just a note if you are going on a tour, probably not so much in the North America, but if you are on a European cruise and doing shore excursions, you will need to have your shoulders covered, shorts long enough to cover the knees or pants for men when visiting most churches. -

Vision Of The Seas Coming To Baltimore?
KenCP replied to coneyraven's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
@coneyraven that is great news. I really liked Vision, and for a short sailing it will be perfect. Not repeating the restaurants too many times on a 5 night either. -
@morgaNhankSport socks are always great because the room attendants go through so many pairs they say. The wait staff love dark dress socks. They say you can always use them especially when it gets close to laundry day. Phone cards are good to now that crew do get some shore days. But cash is always King! Most toiletries they can buy in the crew store.

Canadians - Where Are You Booking Your Rapid Test?
KenCP replied to willowberry88's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Royal does not accept Switch Health Canada, that is what I am using to get back into Canada. For the cruise they seem to only accept the Abbott BinaxNow that has to be ordered and mailed to you and you do the test prior to your cruise via tele health. https://store.optum.com/royal-caribbean/ International guests sailing from the U.S. are able to complete their testing using telehealth test kits, providing the kit has been authorized for use by the U.S. FDA. Telehealth test kits obtained internationally that do not meet this requirement will not be accepted. International guests can arrange to have F.D.A.-approved test kits shipped to the U.S. address where they’ll be staying before their cruise and complete their test prior to departing for the cruise terminal using a U.S. PayPal address to complete the purchase. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/is-there-a-telemedicine-option-for-pre-cruise-covid-19-test -
Canadians - Where Are You Booking Your Rapid Test?
KenCP replied to willowberry88's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
@willowberry88 Switch Health Canada has tele-health which is recognized by the Canadian Border Services. The last time i had them it was $70 for 2 and they provide all the documents you need for travel. This is what I will use whenI return to Canada if they tests are sill required whenI return in May. https://switchhealth.ca/en/ This kit is not accepted by Royal to board the ship you have to use the companies they recommend Here is there link to Their FAQ page https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/is-there-a-telemedicine-option-for-pre-cruise-covid-19-test. -
Is Playmaker's open for lunch on embarkation day?

Canada now dropped the PCR test for returning travellers. You can get the antigen test done at the airport before you leave now. https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/pcr-test-arrival-travel-drop-1.6350469

@new2cruise Currently you just have to be vaccinated to enter the country and have your forms filled out before arriving. https://spthm.puertos.es/more Our check in date is March 6, so before the cruise I am sure Royal will email everything we need to know with regards to entry into Spain. With just over 60 days to go so much can change. I believe here in Canada they are updating travel entry requirements again today. So much can change between now and then. Royal is working with Abbott BinaxNow company that you can have their kits sent to your home and you can do the tests online with their lab. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/topics/testing-requirement

I had a great deal on a DBP back when our cruise was on Allure transatlantic, then the ship got switched to Wonder of the Seas. A couple months later Royal refunded the package back because they said it was on different ship. They did not honour the previous pricing once I seen it had been refunded. They honoured the price I paid for the cruise though. I hope they have a new intern doing the pricing soon.

Great Deal! My Wonder of the seas is showing $73US per day or $93.10CDN per day for April cruise. I hope you grabbed that deal.

Are you able to get the third shot in order to match your vaccines. I believe in Quebec they are now offering the third shot to people that had a mix of vaccines or are immunocompromised. You may want to contact your local health authority to see if you can get the Pfizer shot which is now be named Cominarty.
