Woohoo finally able to check in for our October cruise. It's been a long two years waiting to be able to cruise again.
Also as a bonus New Zealand has dropped all Covid restrictions completely. (apart from aged and healthcare facilities).

Since the restart the Concierge has sent out a welcome letter pre-cruise stating suite guests can board up to an hour before/ after their scheduled arrival time.

We were really upset when we heard that Radiance wasn't coming to Australia. We like the smaller ships (Legend was our favourite). and find that many people share that view.  While we're going on Quantum, we'd definitely prefer a smaller ship.

Sister line Celebrity is offering that on Edge in November 2023 - we're booked on it.

Royal Casinos only operate in international waters so they close at ports of call. The Cruise Compass will give times when the Casino will reopen after departure.

NO, it wasn't when we were in Bermuda in August.  For that matter I've never been aboard a ship which the casino remained open in a port.

RC website shows that the All Access Ship Tour is still unavailable due to COVID, however, it just appeared on my planner and I booked it for my sailing on Freedom on 9/19/2022. Pretty excited to see it back!

Be careful to ask if you will retain the same booking number when re-pricing IF double CAS points are involved.  
Losing the deposit historically meant one cruise was cancelled and a new cruise was created.  Depending on the Oz double CAS points promo there could be implications to this type of repricing.

They are pretty consistent across the fleet.

Below the radar, we enjoyed priority boarding on our last cruise (June).  Rather than starting with "check in times", Port Canaveral gave priority to Pinnacle, Diamond Plus, and then Diamond (suites and Key had priority, too).  After we boarded, they went by check in time.  This could vary by port.

It's discussed more often there days, but you get 4 more drinks on the morning of disembarkation day. You can use these for mimosas or whatever if the WJ bar is serving alcohol (mixed results). You can also use them for fresh squeezed OJ, coffee drinks at Cafe Promenade (you have the DL coffee machine of course but there are some items like a fancy iced coffee you can get at Cafe Promenade), bottled water, etc.
Some people who stay up late have also reported using them after they reset at midnight the night before for extra late night drinks at whatever bars are open that late. I'm asleep by then, lol.
