  1. The Islands of Tahiti, New Caledonia And Papua New Guinea Lift All COVID-19 Travel Restrictions https://southpacificislands.travel/new-caledonia-amongst-72-countries-worldwide-that-have-no-covid-19-travel-restrictions/?Tautm_source=SPTO&utm_campaign=b9d2a96e02-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2022_08_09_11_01&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_a52e4ef901-b9d2a96e02-1401157377
  2. I have just booked onto this cruise and the they were showing excursions for Adelaide, but no pricing. So I guess a work in progress.
  3. We found the weather quite nice, shorts and t-shirts. We enjoy the water and found it was slightly cooler than expected, but still pleasant for a long snorkel or scuba dive. We found the ocean quite cool at Coco Cay and the pool was fresh, but okay for a dip. Still quite warm during the day in some ports, and we never required a jacket, even of an evening.
  4. Must have missed that offer? Could have taken advantage
  5. Thank you mate. As always, such a font of knowledge. Hope to meet you one day on a RCB GC. Take care
  6. Hey @twangster do you have any pictures or comments on JS cabin 1100 on Brilliance of the Seas. It is an aft corner deck 10. we are hoping we can convince Royal to move our aft corner Enchantment cabin
  7. Watch this space. Royal will homeport a ship at Brisbane 12 months of the year as a direct competitor to P&O & Carnival. Prices are certainly cheaper on the Quantum with a similar cabin to what I booked on the Ovation Transpacific being a fraction of the price. Although the cruise for my sister 50th in Nov is nearly sold out leavi g only a couple of high end suites.
  8. We are on the Ovation doing the sounds in early Nov this year, so I do not think this is the issue
  9. If choice of Enchantment or Ovation, would take enchantment. For us, it is more relaxing and more connection to the sea and friendlier staff. Done Rhapsody and Grandeur, and loved them both. But if you are talking Radiance class, like Brilliance, then really happy days, whoo hoo, by far our favourite class of ship. I have reached out and I think your rumours are true. Bugger, more changes
  10. Oh do not talk about any more changes. I have bookings on the Enchantment and have had enough cancellations. I am still upset with the loss of Radiance.
  11. No issues in getting a can, do it often
  12. I was talking to the company that looks after the shore excursions for Royal locally and it is simply a staff shortage issue. We have cruises for 18th Nov Queensland and no shore excursions listed yet . Also nothing for Wellington NZ for early Nov. For Adelaide, there is nothing for the March cruise yet.
  13. Hello @YOLOI will consider it, as you may be correct. Also the message boards have an option for every user to hide every other user's signature.
  14. Grab a drink, sit back and enjoy a great game of cricket at Playmakers
  15. Awesome. Watched the video. Chris, do you know if you are staying on board to do the transpacific to Australia yet?
  16. 1. Points accrue throughout the year and reset to zero 1st April each year 2. Yes, 30 days to book as per the offer to receive the dollars off 3. Yes you will keep receiving offers. Also you can see your offers by logging onto https://www.clubroyaleoffers.com/
  17. Muster station, book entertainment, book specialty dining and My Time dining, order a drink, lunch and relax.
  18. Reach out to MEI Travel. I live in Australia and MEI in the US is so much better than any local TA's I have come across. My TA Kelley is amazing.
  19. Royal Caribbean hs been given the green light by the Fijian Government to start sailing to their ports. Great news as the islands slowly start to open up.
  20. For us, our favourite is the Radiance. Great solarium area with the Park Cafe in the adults pool deck area and overall connection to the sea, with lots of glass and great places to sit, both inside and outside to socialise, relax and watch the world pass by. If we want a ship with lots to do, we love the Symphony.
  21. On the drive back from Hahndorf, go via the McLaren Vale and do a loop through the countryside. nice drive. Could do the Barossa Valley wine tour and/or combine it with McLaren Vale wineries, or Adelaide Hills and Hahndorf tour. The zoo has panda bears and the city is a nice walk. Tram to Gleneig for a nice seaside pub lunch. There also use to be 3 hour Murray river tours with lunch option.
  22. There is heaps to do in and around Adelaide that would be of interest to guests and easily accessable from the port. I have visited several times and love the state. It is a pity about the tours and we plan on hiring a car for the day when our ship visits.
