I've been looking into these 2 excursions as well, looks like one is much longer and offers food, but they look so similar. Hopefully you'll get some responses from someone who's been on one of these excursions!

Depends on the ship if it's good or not. Had a great one on Anthem and a yucky one on Harmony. The cut of the meat was the issue.
We had the same experience with the Kummelweck on Harmony, it wasn't very good at all.

I was looking at map and I have a question about the route Ovation takes on the round trip Seattle/Alaska cruise. Does the ship actually go northbound east of Vancouver Island? Or does it go northbound on the west side of the island? And which way does it go on the southbound return trip?

Interested in this as well even though our Ovation cruise isn't until May 2021

You’re welcome! We have gone searching for local freestyle machines and have found Fanta Zero in all the fruit flavors at Firehouse Subs, BurgerFi and Five Guys my son loves the Fanta Zero Fruit Punch flavor.

Our local Publix and Target carry cans and 2 liters of Fanta Zero but only in Orange. It looks like Fanta Zero Strawberry is only available through fountains and freestyle machines. https://www.coca-colaproductfacts.com/en/products/fanta-zero/strawberry/fountain-drink/

On Harmony there were no vegan desserts at the Windjammer buffet but they offered to make one.

We boarded Harmony this morning. They asked us 3 questions:: 1) have we been to China, Hong Kong, or Macau in the last 15 days, 2) were we in close contact with anyone from these areas in the last 15 days (that we were aware of) and 3) did we have any flu symptoms in the last 7 days. We answered no to all and that was it.

I was wondering the same thing! Hopefully someone has an answer

We stay at the Country Inn & Suites in Port Canaveral. Free breakfast, free wifi, and free overnight parking. They also have a shuttle if you need it. Keep checking prices... our rate dropped quite a bit as we got closer to cruise time.

I just repriced as well and I had originally used OBC to purchase, and when I cancelled the refund was credited back to original form of payment (in my case OBC) so I was able to re-purchase right away again.

I have a cabin 7570 booked on Ovation and the confirmation says it's 50% obstructed. I've searched google and youtube and can't find any reference to this specific cabin. I'm thinking the obstruction (other than looking down on the lifeboats) is a davit?

We booked the aft corner room on Deck 10 for Mariner next year. Haven't gone yet, so I can't comment on it personally, but the room is a "Spacious Balcony Room" but it looks as big as a JS (i.e. balcony cost). It's a bit of an odd shape but for four of us, we thought we'd try it. The balcony is bigger too, but the sides are an on angle if that bothers you. (Again, all comments from pictures and researching from other people's comments). Looking forward to trying it.
We're just like you and have researched this type of room and we've booked the same aft corner room on Deck 10 on Mariner for next November. Looking forward to it!

We did walk from St. Maarten downtown along the road (on the sidewalk) back to the cruise ship. It was not a bad walk at all and just followed the many other cruisers walking. If you have any physical limitations or lots of purchases though, I would suggest getting a ride back to ship. It was about a 15-20 minute walk.
Is there a paved sidewalk the whole way from port to town?

If I've got the soda package where can I get a soda at CocoCay? Do I need to go to one of the bars or are there soda machines at Chill Grill (for example)? Someone in my family drinks a LOT of soda so I want to be set-up close to the soda source!
Thanks!

Are the self-serve soda machines on CoCoCay the Freestyle machines?
Insurance - what "cost" and time frame to use?

I’m not the original poster but this is a great thread! I had no idea that you could call and add to your insurance at a later time!
