  1. I was looking at this and wondering if anyone on here has been on this excursion offered by RC? Any insight to share?
  2. Keeping this little nugget of information for later, thanks for sharing.
  3. decent little menu if you are wanting to order in. wld be nice to have out on the balcony for a lunch or dinner
  4. if anyone is there or going soon please post pics of the cabanas Im hoping to get an idea of the South Beach cabanas for when we are there. I know opens in Dec this year, but I am very curious to know what I have booked :)
  5. Gonna need loads of pics we sail on her April of '21 (too damn far away).
  6. I just purchased the UDP for my wife and my self for our Oasis sailing next Dec. I looked at the final price and just thought "challenge accepted". I will be keeping an eye out on cruise planner sales and get it cheaper of course. I like the idea of the package so I can avoid the thought of how much am I spending on drink during the cruise. Its paid for well in advance, and provides peace of mind. This is especially true for my wife. We were in Las Vegas this past November. We both loved it. The issue was the cost of having a drink together. I drink beer, she likes mixed drinks. We were spending $20 with tip every time we ordered. Two days into the trip, she was wanting to quit having drinks due to the cost. She knew there was plenty of money saved and the cost was not an issue. Just seeing the cost each round was bothering her. I fully believe that the drink package option will remove that concern for her. Everyone has to make their own decision and what is best for you and your family. My thought's are I'm on vacation and I don't want to be bothered with watching the bill while trying to have a good time.
  7. Thanks! Just emailed myself the link so I can look through it properly. No time here at work, they expect me to, ya know, work.
  8. Is there a menu for playmakers listed anywhere?
  9. Former smoker here, and I cant stand the smell of it, it also gives me headaches. When I smoked I became used to it. Now after close to 10 years of not smoking I cant stand being around it. My dad smoked and I was stuck in the smoking area of airplanes, restaurants, in the car, in our house. I fully agree that culture has become what I was calling "baby gated" before I heard the term snowflake. But, people not wanting to have cigarette smoke around them is something I do not throw into that category. The smell is very offensive, the stink sticking to your clothes. Others shouldn't have to deal with that just so smokers can get their fix. Im not saying ban it 100% but contain it to a few places.
  10. Not saying it wouldn't be fun, but I just don't want to deal with the extra stuff. I try to pack as light as possible. My wife on the other hand.....she would pack the kitchen sink if she could fit it into the case!
  11. This might be a really dumb question. Do I have to bring clothes to match the theme to join in the parties? Like Prohibition. I think it sounds fun to go and join in the festivities, but I am not going to go find an outfit to bring along just for those events. I am guessing its not a requirement, but I am asking to clarify.
  12. I didn think smoking was allowed in there. interesting, will have to check if its still that way when I sail on the Oasis. I will not go there if its allowed.
  13. Hopefully this is a practice that doesn't stick. IF I wanted to have something else I like to have that option
  14. If I wore nice jeans, collard shirt and a vest/waistcoat would that work for formal night? I tend to roll my sleeves up with my collard shirts when its warm too. Will that get me looks from the staff as if I am "under dressed"?
  15. Not too hateful of a price there I guess. plus the girl time together for my ladies will be nice too.
  16. I want to see that and playmakers. Love watching the game with a few cold brews. Plus that Ice cream in the football helmet concoction looks amazing hahaha
  17. that's good to know. I guess it makes sense due to the mega ships needing reservations for many of their activities
  18. My wife is interested in going there with our daughter the night we get dressed up for pics on the ship. we are going during a Dec sailing. I read the ship will be decorated for Christmas. We figure it will be a perfect opportunity for a nice family Christmas picture(s).
  19. What time do the pools close for the night? Or is it specific ship to ship?
  20. I don't know, they are both terrible. Its hard to put one over the other hahahaha
  21. Dang, that would have been a nice trip to take. Oh well, plenty of other places to visit.
  22. I really would like to experience a suite, but its going to have to wait. Right now id rather take more cruises compared to suite price tag.
  23. I don't know what the old one looks like, but I did see the blog post for the new one. It just looks cheap, I hope there is enough backlash that they provide something better.
