It is currently 7am and we are nearing our destination for today. Today we are docking in St. Maarten. We are doing the Philipsburg  by Trolley Train excursion with the whole crew. I thought I’d try and get a jump start on todays writings.

Jake, McKenzie and I plan on trying Johnny Rockets breakfast at 8:30. We told our genie this and he said ew, and reminded us that their is Coastal Kitchen from 7:30-9:30.

I told Hossain that we went to the windjammer and he texted back with the vomit emoji!

We are on this sailing as well.  I will try to stalk you out and say hi.  We did Star class in the Aquatheater on Oasis last month and it is fabulous!  Enjoy!  you will have a food coma for sure. We had to tell our genie to stop sending food.  We had the escape room open for Star Class, you may want to ask Hossain if it is available on Symphony.

We did the escape room on Symphony 3 weeks ago. We didn't make it out but it was a lot of fun!

Ok fine, I will post a negative too. I was Ms. Grumpy at San Juan today. It was too windy and hot for my liking. And I just wanted back onto the ship. 😂

I have add one last bit about my luggage and I will stop talking about it. Part of it not getting to us sooner is on me too. I did not tell Allan about the lost luggage until Tuesday morning after breakfast. I did not realize until I spoke to someone else in our #majorstarclasstakeover group that Royal could arrange to find lost luggage. Had I mentioned it on boarding day, the story might be different. I too learned something new this sailing .

Allans gift to you, on you final night, will be a piece of luggage to get home the gifts he has given you all week!

Escape Room - included for star class

A few other star class families joined us in the escape room this morning including @calvink669and his wife Kelli.  So nice to meet in person! Not going to lie, it was harder than we thought but thankfully we had 4 teens to help us!  It was a lot of fun. Time remaining: 14:59.
    Updated: Masks optional

I am so jealous. The escape room was our one request and it wasn't open on Harmony 2 weeks ago.

We have actually been talking about which one we prefer. We thought we would miss the loft but this suite is so unique as well. Gathering our thoughts.

I am living through you right now as we have this suite booked in Oct. We have always stayed in lofts too. Just off Harmony, 1722, last week and have the same loft on Symphony in Feb. Decided to try something new on Allure!

Kind of a funny story. I assumed the windows in the master bedroom were reflective and you could only see out, not in. So imagine my surprise when  our suite attendant Cami, showed me the privacy shade button at 9pm tonight that provides privacy for when you are in the bathroom. My response was: you mean these windows aren’t one way?  We had a good laugh about it.  🤣

We love Cami and have requested to have her on a few cruises.

Funny story to add here, because its one of those situations where all you can do is just laugh.  So of course, we had that LOOOOOONNG travel day home. We arrived back to Albany at around midnight. We collected our luggage and headed to the car only to discover that something got left on and of course..................we had a dead battery......The three of us adults just looked at each other and laughed. The kids thought we lost our minds. Thankfully, a phone call later to the fleet company (Heather has a fleet car for work that we get to use for personal use as well) a tow company is dispatched and we eventually made it home. Now I'm wishing for those ship laundry machines as I slowly make my way through that mountain.

I left our car running at Port Canaveral when we cruised on Oasis. We found out about 30 minutes after departure so there was nothing we could do but my husband did panic. RC quickly escorted us to a specialty restaurant and said they would take care of it. By the time we were done with dinner they had made phone calls and got the local sheriff to oversee a locksmith unlock, turn off and re lock the car. All at no charge! We tipped everyone involved and made a donation to the sheriffs department. Not my best moment but like you said, I could only laugh.

Many have thoughts on him.  They are all good.  The only one negative I have heard on him (and it's minor), is that he does not communicate as regularly pre-cruise as some other genies.  He is of the most experienced Genies, other than Reyno (who is on all the Star class ads).

Our experience must have been different than others because every time I emailed him, pre cruise, I heard back from him that same day. It was always late at night but always the same day.  Since I'm not using my real name I can tell you something else about him.  He has an amazing smile, very handsome and he smells great!

  9. When we cruised on Oasis I didn't know reserve seating was only in certain venues so I asked for seats at Quest. Our Genie told us that they don't usually reserve quest seats so I wasn't expecting them. We got there and there were about 10 seats that had our suite number, on plain white paper, saying reserved. He told us later that he didn't have enough of the red reserved signs.
