  1. If anyone has time can they please run down to the casino and take a picture of the QR code sheet that has the free cruise offerings on it? This is the sheet that tells you how many points you need per a offer.
  2. What games did you see that you would say were low volatility for the original version of Double Dimond from my understand is one of the best games to build your bankroll due to it being low volatility?
  3. Gambling is not an issue for us. As for Double Diamond was it the original version or a different variant that they have? Hoping that you remember.
  4. I wanted to see if there are any slots players out here that have recently been on Wonder? With the price of cruising going up my wife and I decided to try our luck at the casino to see if we can get some comps. We are looking for low volatility slot machines such as Red Hot Triple 7's, Triple Jackpot, Double Diamond, or any other one that is low volatility.
  5. This will be my first time on this sailing but any bar is my favorite bar until I run out of free drink vouchers.
  6. Wow, this is interesting for normally 30 days out there are a ton of messages flying around. I guess not many folks are on this sailing. My wife and I will be on it and we are really forward to it as we do any sailing. We are going to try something new this time around. With Royal raising their prices around ever turn we are going to give the casino a shot in hopes of getting getting a feel for how it could be if we started gambling. I know that Casino Royal points reset at the end of March but we are hoping that maybe we will have a good run and be able to achieve Prime status before we leave since the status level would carry over. Always like to have a pipe dream
  7. Looking to play some craps on an up coming cruise in March and was wondering what the table minimum was on Wonder?
  8. After further thinking about this topic I am going to let this one die.
  9. This appears to be going in a direction that I did not intend initially so I have change the title to a ballpark figure. Hopefully the title change helps clear up things up. Also I am just looking for what was being spent on the cruise only not including extras such as hotel, travel, drinks, etc as I mentioned in my initial posting. It appears from what I have read most people are just simply willing to spend the additional money to continue on their current sailings per a year bases.
  10. Thanks for the feedback. This is what I am basically looking for in that you did increase your budget to continue sailing at the same current pace.
  11. I agree but to get a better understanding in my opinion it had to be asked. I figured that I would not get many answers for it is a personal decision as to what one feels comfortable spending. Was hoping for some ballpark figures.
  12. Thanks so much for posting this for I have always wished I had known the prices of the cruise planner for some of my sailings prior to booking.
  13. My wife and I love cruising and have been doing it now for about 5 years. Over that time frame we have determined that we enjoy 6+ days of sailing per a cruise for anything shorter than that we just do not seem to unwind before the cruise is over. We have also determined that the JR. suite rooms fit us best for we like the extra space and having a full size shower but normally we end up getting a balcony. The wife is not a fan of a port hole nor the interior cabins for she tends to get a little claustrophobic in those rooms so at a minimum we have to get a balcony. The wife and I sat down to figure out what we are spending on our cruises for we like doing about 3 a year. Over the course of the past 2 years we have been able to get 3 sailings in totaling 14+ days for each year around the cost of $6000. That price is just the cruise fees and not any extras such as drink packages. That is simply the cruise, taxes, gratuity, and other fees that Royal charges. We normally end up getting balcony rooms with the occasional JR suite thrown in when we can get a good price but we basically still stay around the $6000 yearly budget. We are now of course thinking about our 2025 schedule since Royal is about to release some of the sailings in a few weeks. Looking for current prices we are afraid that our $6000 budget is no longer going to be able to cover 3 sailings a year as it has in the past but instead will only cover 2 unless we up our cruise budget. With all that being said what is everyone's yearly budget for their 2025 sailings? Are you upping your budget to continue on your past path or are you cutting back? Again my question is about just the cruise fair and not the add-ons included in your budget.
  14. This is part 2 for my wife and I. We are also on the sailing right before this so this will be or first back to back sailing and first time on Allure.
  15. Thanks for letting me know this for that changes everything now. Yup, will definitely have to give Star Class a try one of these days. May have to take a break a from cruising for a year to save up the money to get a suite like @EZ Life has.
  16. Geez! What a great looking room. If I had that room with the TV hanging up in front of the water like that I would never leave. Not sure if it is possible or not but can the genie deliver liquor to the room? I think I remember someone posting that they were able to get shots of liquor but not mixed drinks? It would be great if they could deliver mixed drinks by the pitcher. Would never have to leave the room.
  17. Wow, that is a long dry dock spell you have going on there. Glad to see that it is coming to an end for you. I have not been on a cruise since the week of November so not that bad but I am definitely getting the itch to be back at sea. Really looking forward to this cruise as well.
  18. I am with you as well for this will be my wife and I's first time on Harmony and only our second time on an Oasis class ship. My wife just loves the different neighborhoods for she likes that we can be outside and be getting blown away by the wind like what happens on the smaller ships. Really looking for forward to this cruise for it will be about 7 months since we were last on a cruise.
  19. With just a little over 60 days till the sail date I wanted to see who all is going to be on this cruise with my wife and I?
  20. Thanks for all of the responses for I am glad I am not the only thinking that this guy was an idiot. It is so sad to see people feel that the are entitled to special treatment and thus making everyone around them feeling miserable. As I mentioned before what was odd to me was that the drunks were more friendly and easier to deal with then some one that appeared sober to me.
  21. I am just returning from a cruise where unfortunately I ran into my first negative passenger. I have been sailing on Royal now for 7 sailings and have never had any issues with any other passengers. I have bumped into people that were drunk and we simply looked at each other apologized and moved on down the road. When I go up to a bar before I look around and ask if anyone was waiting for I did not want to cut the line. Anyways I have never had any issues with anyone drunk or sober on a cruise. I always try and be polite and ensure that I am following good etiquette when in a crowd of people. Here is what took place on my last full day on my recent cruise. I was waiting in line at the Windjammer to grab myself a lunch hamburger and as we all know that section of the buffet is always crowded. Anyways, this older guy come walking up to the buns jumping the line ahead of everyone including pushing two children out of the way that I would say were around 10 or 12 years old. I look the guy in the face and asked him if he "was to good to wait in line like the rest of of us". He responds to me very sarcastically that he was and to "bite me". Now I know that I should not have said anything at all but cutting the line while pushing some kids out the way just rubbed me the wrong way. I responded back for him to simply move on and even called him sir. He turns around and I see him go to the end of the bar and call over the cook ask him for a fresh burger stopping the cook from finishing his job of restocking the burgers on the buffet. I ignore the guy and finish making my burger and ensured that I did not even in his general direction for to me this issue was over. I finished my round around all the buffets and then start to make my way to the table that my wife and friends were sitting at. On my way to the table I see the douchebag headed toward me and as he passes me smarts off again at me stating for me to go and do you know what with myself. Well that was all that it took to get my adrenaline pumping again. I stop and look at him and basically told him not to let his mouth write checks that his ass could not cash. Except that there were a couple of F-bombs dropped in there along with a few other choice words. It was at this point I guess the guy was getting nervous for he could tell I was pissed. I am in my late 40s and have been lifting weights for about the past 10 years so if I had to guess on this particular cruise I would have considered myself easily in the top 10% of the physically fit on board. The douchebag I would say was in his 60s or a little older but due to his all white head it was hard to really say his age. Getting back to my situation after basically stating that if he wanted a go I was down with, he then asks me if I want him to call security to which I responded "Yes, please do!" He then responds to me that "I live on this ship" and that basically security would side with him. I then told him that I did not care that he lived on the ship. After this exchange of words we stare at each other and after a moment and with nothing being said I turned around and continued to my table. After this exchange took place I realized that this guy actually thinks that he is entitled to special privileges because he lives on the ship and should get special treatment. Unfortunately after this exchange I was no longer in the mood to enjoy my last day on the ship and went back to my room. I felt very frustrated with myself after reviewing this encounter over in my head for I did initiate this situation for making a comment when he jumped in line ahead of everyone else. Then what also frustrated me even more was that he actually believed that he deserved special treatment because he lived on the ship. Just to clarify the guy was not Mario. Now my question to everyone here is if someone lives on a ship should they get special privileges over those that do not? As anyone can easily guess I do not care if someone lives on a ship or not and that they need to follow the same basic rules of etiquette that the rest of the passengers are following.
  22. Wow, someone else actually has a higher drink package then I do.
  23. Great the one time I do not want win a contest and what happens I win. For some reason all my cruises are right around the same $84 mark no matter how close or how far out the cruise is booked.
