https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/when-to-take-a-test-if-traveling-to-us-from-another-country International Re-Entry Testing Options Many international travelers will require a negative COVID-19 test result for re-entry into their country of residence. Please see below for options available to you on your sailing. Be sure to familiarize yourself with your country’s specific requirements prior to scheduling your re-entry test. For Guests Sailing before January 5, 2022 You can schedule a COVID-19 test onboard prior to debarkation day to complete your International Re-Entry Testing requirement. Details on scheduling your test will be provided once onboard. For Guests Sailing on or after January 5, 2022 Optional onboard testing to satisfy your International Re-Entry Testing requirement will no longer be available. However, if your country requires a COVID-19 test, you have various ways to complete this testing requirement nearby upon debarking the ship. Note that Royal Caribbean is not affiliated with these providers in any way. Testing costs vary by location and should be paid directly to the provider. These options will be communicated to you once onboard in greater detail. At the Terminal — For your convenience, you can take a rapid PCR or antigen COVID-19 test right at the terminal upon debarking the ship and depart. Results will be emailed to you shortly after. At the Airport — Guests traveling directly to the airport can schedule their rapid PCR or antigen COVID-19 test to be taken on-site with a test provider at the airport. Local Testing Sites — If you’re staying in the area, there are various locations close to the terminal, the airport and hotels in the area where you can complete PCR or antigen COVID-19 testing. Pricing for these tests varies by test type and location.

Here's the Canadian's Federal Government views on Cruising Cruise ship travel in Canada Effective November 1, 2021, cruise ships are permitted in Canadian waters. Canada is working with the cruise ship industry, and other domestic and international partners, to support safe cruise ship travel in spring 2022. Travel on cruise ships outside of Canada You should continue to avoid all cruise ship travel outside of Canada. If you decide to take a cruise outside of Canada despite this advisory, there are some important facts you should consider. If an outbreak of COVID-19 or another contagious illness were to occur: you could be subject to quarantine procedures onboard the ship or in a foreign country the range of consular services available on cruise ships may be significantly restricted by local authorities, especially in situations of quarantine the cost of medical care could be very expensive if required, and you may need to pay for your medical bills immediately in cash The Government of Canada won’t pay your medical bills, including COVID-related expenses or medical evacuation. If you’re infected with COVID-19, you won’t be able to return to Canada on a public flight until 14 days have passed. You shouldn’t depend on the Government of Canada for assistance to change your travel plans. The Government of Canada will continue to evaluate the situation and make changes as necessary to ensure the health and safety of all Canadians. SO......... No mentions of other forms of travel ............just crusing. -

To my understanding, you can use your home as a suitable location to Quarantine until provide proof of a negative test. Before travelling to Canada, all travellers, regardless of citizenship, must make suitable plans for quarantine, within their own means. Travellers who qualify as fully vaccinated may be exempt from quarantine. Eligibility will be determined at the border. However, before you travel you must still make plans for suitable quarantine and enter those plans into ArriveCAN. You are required to quarantine for a period of 14 days after travel if: You are not fully vaccinated You are not given the fully vaccinated traveller exemption at the border (eligibility will be determined at the border) Use these questions to guide you in developing a suitable plan. When you arrive at the border, you will be asked about your quarantine plan to confirm it meets requirements. A suitable quarantine plan helps to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our country, our communities, and our families. Do you have a place where you could quarantine for 14 days, if determined necessary at the border? (required) Yes No -

This is the latest from Canada's Travel Advisory. We'll see if this changes today Temporary border restrictions and measures to address COVID-19 Omicron variant of concern In effect: Fully vaccinated travellers who have been in any country other than Canada and the United States in the 14 days prior to entry to Canada may be selected for arrival testing. They must quarantine in a suitable place until they receive a negative test result. They may take public transportation (for example, connecting flights) to their place of quarantine. The Government of Canada is increasing the number of fully vaccinated travellers being selected for testing to reach 100% of vaccinated travellers in the coming weeks. Requirements for unvaccinated travellers remain unchanged. News release For travellers who have been in the following countries within 14 days prior to arrival in Canada: Botswana, Egypt, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zimbabwe: Countries with COVID-19 entry restrictions -

The Verify App is for business only.. I can understand using ArriveCan app to re-enter back into Canada. I don't understand why you had to update Verify? -
okay, Am i reading this correctly? "We'll now only accept a negative PCR test result to satisfy the Pre-Cruise testing requirement for this age group." Okay PCR test require to embark. "Additionally, instead of taking a PCR test at embarkation, unvaccinated guests age 2 - 11 will receive a complimentary antigen test" So which is it? PCR or Antigen

okay final update I called Ontario's Provincial Vaccine Information line 888-999-6488. I have called this number so many times to be turned away "you need to contact your public health" connected with an agent, you can tell by his voice and the manner he spoke, he knew what he was doing. Awesome, a seasoned call center agent. explained my situation and he emailed my wife's 1st dose information sheet. I thanked him profusely.. Got off the phone and review the document in detail. I spotted something... her 1st dose information sheet mentions that she had received 2 valid doses. So I replied back via email to the call center agent "David" of what i was seeing "1st & 2nd doses information sheets both says she has received 2 valid doses". He replied back explaining the 1st dose information sheet was printed as of today with today's information. (2 valid doses). So I printed the 1st dose information sheet and the email conversation with the call center agent(as backup). Let's hope it works
