  1. Ah yes, that's what I was wondering... we'll def leave things as is for now, but will keep an eye on pricing over the next while.
  2. Hi there! Wondering if anyone has done this & if the total price gets re-adjusted for the better or worse? Our scenario: we've booked 13+ months out for Spring 2023 on Wonder, final pymt not due until Jan. Traveling from Canada, always book w/ref dep (as sometimes travel costs are unknown far ahead & can be prohibitive etc etc). This time we've booked 2cxn rooms, and the ref dep fee alone is over $700 (!). Has anyone reversed/ deleted this fee just prior to final pymt (therefore turning it to non-refundable), and if so, did Royal "readjust" your total price to their going rate of the day? (Our cruise has already gone up quite a bit since we've booked, obv don't want to pay more in the end). Thx all for any help! ~Julie
  3. We just did this on Adventure last month and really enjoyed it! If you're interested in "behind the scenes"at all (and seeing how sparkling clean everything is, wow!), *and* if you maybe like mimosas /champagne at all... And a beautiful brunch... I'd say do it! ?
  4. Thanks everyone for the replies & advice! Have only been to St Thomas once (so far!), but am very interested in trying to see St John when we do this fall. It will be our first port, so we should still have the energy to be off the ship first if we go it on our own ?
  5. Has anyone done this through RCCL? It's listed on Freedom for our stop in St Thomas - we're interested in spending time at one of the beaches in St John that day - total excursion time is listed at 4 hrs. I'm reading that the ferry time is approx 45 mins each way...I guess my real question is, how much of a pain is it to get back and forth truly "on your own" between the islands, and cost-wise, is it basically a wash? We're sched to be docked from 8 am-8pm, so I do feel like there would be plenty of time to go on our own, but we just haven't done it before. Just don't want to lose out on that beautiful beach time, lol!
  6. Thank you for this, RTripp! Will take a peek today...and probably get sidetracked looking at lots of other ports and info as well...lol... ?
  7. I'm hoping someone can offer a PDF of the Cozumel port? We're travelling there in a few weeks with first-time cruisers, who would love to get the lay of the land prior to sailing. I've been Googling all over the place this morning, and have come up short lol. Don't need anything fancy, but would love a walking map etc...maybe the Cruise Compass section has this, I'm just realizing...?
