  1. No. Currently the Key guests can eat in the MDR on embarkation day, but no one else.
  2. MisterZ likes the way you think! He'd call this dinner too!
  3. This is why I will be testing at the airport, from the airport test vendor, when I return from Amsterdam in June. As long as your departure is from one of the larger international airports, testing is easy and quick. The airport website will have information on what testing is available onsite. You can make an appointment and pay in advance. Also, your insurance may cover the whole test cost (claim submitted after the fact) rather than just the $12 — rules are usually different for medical claims outside of the US.
  4. Yes you will get results emailed to you. You can also access/display them in the Navica app. Personally I’m #TeamPrintItOut though
  5. I think this one is unrestricted so that one person can buy several if they know they will use them.
  6. We did this for our last cruise. I believe it took 4-5 days for it to show up in the cruise planner. But you should definitely be able to see it, so if it has been longer than that you should call them back!
  7. Welcome to the boards! Rooms for 4 is definitely a struggle in Rome. We found some "quads" in a few hostel-style places -- rooms with 4 twin beds -- so that might be an option. Otherwise we just booked two rooms and asked for them to be next to each other. Hope that helps!
  8. Things have been much more “last minute” recently, as Royal gets the last ships up and running and validates relationships with old and new tour vendors. I’m 53 days out from my next cruise and just finally got tours in the last port I was waiting for. Just keep checking!
  9. Welcome to the boards! Where are you traveling from or sailing from?
  10. I heard a rumor that you can only do the iHealth proctoring on a computer/laptop, not on a phone. Not sure if that's true, but it might be a problem if you're not traveling with a laptop.
  11. Several options at Vancouver airport. Definitely your simplest option. https://www.yvr.ca/en/passengers/travel-planning/takecare/covid-19-testing
  12. The straw market was open at the end of March when I was there. If you turn right after you exit the port you can't miss it. Welcome to the boards!
  13. Welcome to the boards! Start here for drink package info: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/royal-caribbean-beverage-package-costs-info-tips Complimentary beverages include iced tea, coffee, hot tea, lemonade, apple juice, orange juice, and tap water.
  14. Snorkel gear is not included. There are two mats in the cabana, but you can get more (free) if you need them.
  15. Then definitely look in Georgetown. Quick bus (don't discount the buses, they're great there!) or metro to the Mall, but interesting stuff, particularly food, in its own right.
  16. Ha! I've been researching a ton about DC this month, in preparation for our upcoming move in August Are you interested in hitting all the Must Dos and not having to taxi/uber anywhere? It might be worth it to just stay right downtown. More expensive, but you'll save travel money and time. There's a Hyatt Place that's a bit less expensive than some. Georgetown is my favorite neighborhood, personally, and close to the National Mall, etc. If you're looking into AirBnBs this would be the neighborhood for sure. Chinatown is another convenient spot, and it has a lot going on all on its own. Foggy Bottom and Dupont Circle neighborhoods are overrated, IMHO.
  17. We started doing half and half -- send the larger bag out the night before and keep the smaller one with us.
  18. I'm guessing @coneyravenwould be your best resource for questions about Grandeur!
  19. Welcome to the boards! Are you talking about the one in May? It would be nice intro to Royal, I suspect. But be prepared for chilly weather — that’s very early in the Alaska season.
  20. Yes, best to order them sooner rather than later. No appointment needed, just log in. It has never taken me more than 90 seconds to connect to a proctor.
  21. The upcoming Ultimate World Cruise will include Alexandria and the Great Pyramid.
