  1. It seems rather vague when "suggesting" what to wear at the different places on our cruise ship. We will be on Symphony of the Seas in a couple weeks and our family is doing a 3 night dinner package. I was planning on wearing jeans to these with a collared shirt, but now am worried maybe that isn't dressy enough. However my family hates dressing up at all on vacation lol. What should teenagers wear? Obviously no swim ware but are jeans and a collared shirt ok?

  2. As you get closer to cruise date more will open up I'm guessing. I go to Coco Cay in a couple weeks, and there is a ton of stuff to purchase from my cruise planner. Cabanas, dual-sand shaded lounge chair thingies, tons of activities, all kinda stuff.

    So that's a little tricky on the website.  If the price for the 3 device package is $22.99 per day, you only need to select ONE person when you are purchasing.  The total should be closer to $160 for the cruise.  If you're selecting 3 out of the 4 people, that's a total of 9 devices you're paying for.  Basically, you are saying that you want 3 people to have 3 devices.

    When you get on board you will be given either one code that allows 3 simultaneous devices, or 3 codes... I forget which, but it doesn't matter who the code is associated with - with that package, 3 devices can be logged in at the same time.  If you want to change devices, simply log out of one and log in with the new device.

    Hope that makes sense!

    Ok... That is MUCH better, I can swallow that. Thank you for clarifying!

  4. Hello!

    I bought a lot of my ship activities / services pretty early *blush, I was excited!* and since I keep seeing discounts being offered. For instance, the 3 dining package was 99 a person when I purchased, now it shows "Up to 50% off!" when I'm browsing the Cruise Planner. Do they credit the difference back or should I cancel and re-book at the cheaper prices?

    Thanks ?

    EDIT : Looks like I'll be putting together a Python script that can scrape this site a couple times a day and report back to me when prices drop so I don't have to quite my job to keep an eye on these daily fluctuations! Thanks everyone for the help!

  5. On Symphony of the Seas in May, and purchased a 3 Night Dinner Package. However when you purchase it simply asks you to choose one evening (night 1, or night 2) and a time, but doesn't let you choose which restaurant you wish to dine at. At the top of the the Cruise Planner website it says;

    " You can still make dining reservations for Night 1, Night 3, Night 4, Night 5, Night 6, Night 7, but availability is limited. Find the perfect restaurant here. Plan all cruise dining! ".

    Are the people who get dinner packages left last-in-line for the other guests reserving full price, to choose restaurants when you board?

    If I don't our family into Wonderland, It would be pretty big let down ?

    The dining package options will vary from sailing to sailing. Sometimes they offer many dining packages, and sometimes none at all. It has to do with how well specialty restaurants are selling and what the cruise line feels demand will be at for them to offer it or not.

    You can certainly keep waiting to see if they add it back. For my Brilliance of the Seas sailing, we had no dining packages up until about 3 weeks prior to sailing.

    Ahh... Ok makes sense, appreciate the insight ?
