Excellent @Plasticbrain Duolingo hasn’t yet covered either of these words! But my 2.5 year old is running around saying går det bra and tusen takk!

I think you probably could take a buggy. The day I went there were definitely people with small kids and dogs but trying to think back I honestly can't remember if there was anyone with a buggy. As I remember it, it's definitely more of a footpath than a hiking trail. It was absolutely the least demanding of the walks that DD and I did on that cruise and if I'm going to be completely honest with you, although pleasant enough, it pales into insignificance in comparison to the other ports we visited (Bergen, Olden and Geiranger). However, the fact that you're going to be there on Constitution Day will undoubtedly bring added interest to the stop. Plus, if you have littles they will probably be thrilled to see the sheep and goats along the way. Just watch where you're stepping at that point. 😂
Here are some pics I took along the way.
    Sail in:

View of the town from the bridge connecting it to the port area. Note that the Cruise Compass said it was a comfortable 10-15 minute walk from the port to the town. More like 20 minutes and DD and I are fit and fast walkers. With littles it could take you longer than that.

A couple of shots taken along the way.

    Four-legged friends:

This inlet was as far as we went. I'm not sure if the path continued farther on beyond it but you'd probably find this is plenty far enough for you anyway.

The national monument. We stopped here on the way back by which time there was a noticeable increase in the number of people around. From this angle, the campsite with the toilets isn't visible but it's just beyond. Actually, I think it might be a caravan park rather than a campsite but that's a minor detail. You'll recognise it for what it is when you see it.

You didn't mention what other ports you'll be calling at on your cruise but if you happen to be visiting any of the ones I mentioned then you might like to take a look at this thread where I shared my pre-cruise research in response to a question by another poster who was on the same cruise as me.
I hope this helps. I'm sure you'll have an amazing time. Words can't describe what a wonderful place Norway is.

We did xl Ubers over spring break in France and here because 4-5 people and their luggage wasn’t gonna work.  It averaged about $20-30 more than the regular.  You can see cost on Ubers app by doing a mock viewing.  Jane

Thank you @Plasticbrain and @FionaMG absolutely amazing insight!

We’ve got a 2.5 year old and a 12 year old coming with us. I’m sure the 12 year old will be trying to convince us they can still fit in the buggy at some point!

We’re 3 weeks out now, after booking so far in advance, I’m finding it hard to contain my excitement 🤣

If they're open (not sure about how the public holiday might affect that), be sure to stop for cupcakes at the place linked below. They are very yummy. About a 20-25 minute walk from the ship, straight through the pedestrian shopping street.

This is also the route you would take if you wanted to do the coastal walk, which also takes you past the national monument. There are public toilets at the campsite there (always useful to know 😉).

You‘re luckier than me. Yesterday I received another one of those emails starting with “About Your Upcoming Travels“ and the subject “Select a New Sail Date“. And this is already the replacement cruise I chose instead of this canceled one. I can‘t believe it! 😠 😑
I‘m getting tired of organizing everything over and over again …  😞

Royal not update their website??? No way! 🤣
I think something like that is more likely than them ("them" being what I have to assume is an automated system and not subject to human error) assigning 3 people to a cabin that only holds 2.

I mean, it really could be nothing to worry about. It's entirely possible that the stateroom in question has recently been re-categorised and the deck plans simply haven't been update to reflect that. I don't know if you remember seeing a post not so long ago from someone who couldn't find their assigned room at all on the deck plan (Oasis, I think?) and that was exactly the issue. The room was clear to see on other Oasis class deck plans (Harmony) but had been added to Oasis during its dry dock and nobody updated the deck plans.

It doesn't have any of the symbols marked on it that would identify it as taking additional guests over the standard double occupancy.
If you scroll down to the bottom of the deck plan page you can see them listed. For example, cabins with a little triangle marked on them can take 3 guests.

Today I opened my email inbox amd there were 8 mails from Royal with the topic "Change confirmation" and my first thought was "Nooooooo not again!" I opened the first of the email fearing the worst, but this time I was lucky, all 8 mails (2 each for the 4 of us, for some reason) had the same content - one of our excursions now start at 08.30 instead of 08 40 😅, I mean I would have been fine with them telling me this onboard in July... oh well, just happy it was not another cancellation 🤣

My phone and iPad finally synched, so I have some photos from Antigua and Grenada.  Let’s see how this goes.  I’ve had some trouble spacing them and inserting text.  I’m terrible at this stuff.
This is the floating platform in Antigua for the stingray swim.  It made the entire experience so much better than in Grand Cayman. It was much easier to get into and out of the water

These mysterious blobs are obviously stingrays.  They are so docile and sweet.

You can almost see the tail !

This is St George, Grenada with Explorer in the background.  I really liked Grenada.  Nice people, beautiful island, shitty roads.

Obviously, I’m having a bad hair day.

The town of St George really reminds me of Curaçao, which is one of my very favorite places.  This town just looks so quaint.

Shamefully, I got very few photos of Ft Frederick.

These monkeys are native to the island and I’m embarrassed to say I don’t know their proper species name.  We caught a fleeting glance at one in the rain forest.

…and finally, the waterfall at Annandale.  Very beautiful place. Kinda like a cenote in Mexico.

If you filter the search by each of those ships individually and then by cruise date, you will see that both Serenade and Radiance have nothing showing beyond September 2026, when they finish their summer seasons in Alaska.
I would expect at least one of them to do an eastbound Panama Canal sailing. Those tend to be unpredictable in terms of release dates and are sometimes simply put up for sale on random dates with no advance warning.
What they would do after the Canal transit is anyone's guess. I would like to see one of them do the longer 10/11 night Caribbean sailings from Florida over the winter, as currently the longest is 8 nights. 🤞However, given Royal's recent focus on shorter cruises that may be wishful thinking on my part. 🤔
As for Ovation, I would expect her to be doing the Singapore sailings. Those are due for release around the middle of next month.

Just resurrecting this old thread to say if anyone is interested in doing this activity check your cruise planner. With the current sale, I'm seeing it at $39.99, which was a big enough discount to make me pull the trigger for my upcoming Anthem cruise.
