I have absolutely no idea but they do have vendors right at the port that will take you.  No clue how much they ask for a ride there.  I just know that it definitely takes less than an hour and a half via a 15mph max speed golf cart with no stops ???.

@Matt has some photos from Sorobon on his live blog from the Freedom NYE Group Cruise https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2020/01/03/freedom-of-the-seas-live-blog-day-6-bonaire

We ran into him there on our golf cart tour so it's the same view that I had..but I failed to take any photos.

thank you!  beach looks so beautiful.

Can't attest to the windsurfing but we stopped there when rented golf carts on Bonaire.  The beach is absolutely gorgeous and it's very shallow super far out.  I am not a beach person but they did have shade available up by the beach club area and you could rent cabanas that provided shade.

ohhhh good to know! how long does it take from cruise port?

  3. hello!

I have searching for things to do other than snorkeling in Bonaire and found this beautiful beach called Sorobon Beach.  There are Sorobon Beach Resort, Hangout Beach Bar located at the beach.

anyone ever been here? It looks stunning in photos.. is it really that beautiful?  Is it worth to spend entire day there?  Is windsurfing easy to do?

    any feedback is welcome!

    thank you

  4. Hello All! Happy New Year!

I have been searching this but couldn't find anywhere on internet/youtube.

Has anyone been on Oasis of the Seas since November Amplification with 12 year old kids?

I see they have revamped Adventure Ocean area that now there is a room for 3-5 year old and 6-12??? year old kids?? is that correct? That room is called "Hangout" room.. has anyone have a photo or been there on the ship? what is that place like? Is there many things to do for 12 year old kids?

which leads to my next question.. Oasis of the Seas teens club is now called "Social 298" and it looks pretty cool! Can 12 year old enter this place?  or do they strictly prohibit this?  I have a feeling that my 12 year daughter and her friend will want to spend more time at Social 298..

thank you so much in advance!

I love the big ships, but I'm kind of a kid. I like lots of fun new things to do at sea. I will only take my kids on an amped ship, but i prefer Oasis class. When the wife and I are cruising without kids we will do any ship especially if we are targeting ports, but I still prefer amped or Oasis. I probably represent Royal's target cruiser at this point

Me too. I will take my kids and family to Amped ship or Oasis class/Quantum class only.

When I flew to Jamaica and stayed at Rose Hall our hotel had a shuttle but you had to sit and wait for it.  We elected to jump in a cab.

It was like a cab in many parts of the world.  Make sure to clearly understand the rate and if it's per person or total.

Other than that it was fine.

thank you for the response! I guess taxis are lined up at the cruise port in the morning just like all other cruise ports?

  7. hello!

I am thinking about resort day pass at Hilton Rose Hall when I go to Falmouth.. problem is ship arrives at 7 AM bus pick us up at 8:30.

Is taxi readily available at the port?  I want to grab a taxi and get to HRH my self early..  every minute count! ?

Has anyone used a taxi in Falmouth??  how was the experience?

    thanks!!
