$364 is huge in my book. I spent over 90 minutes on hold with Air2Sea today to save $36. LoL

I called on the 22nd of July and was told that the OBC would show up in 24 hours.  It did not show in cruise planner.  I finally called today (29 July) and was told that it would not show up in the cruise planner but would be added to my sea pass card when we board the ship.   I was also told that if we do not use all of the OBC that our credit card would be credited the unused amount.  So you may not see the OBC from after final payment fare drop in your cruise planner.

I had booked with RCL directly, and got the new cabin information with OBC about 15mins later.

I contacted them on Twitter a couple days ago. They said no errors on their end and to clear my cache/cookies and try again. I explained this was not my first rodeo with Royal IT issues and I always try doing that before reporting problems. Further advised them that I tried it on multiple browsers and it was not only my PC but my phone as well. Their next reply was basically “yes, you’re right and we’re looking into it”. Still doesn’t work.

So the page came back and I won my bid once again for Owners Suite on Freedom! 

Our over the water cabanas for 10/30 sailing were ridiculously priced at $1699! I laughed and said they would never sell at that price. Just looked:

Hey - just wanted to let you guys know.  Had a cruise scheduled on Freedom of the Seas on July 23-26 leaving out of Miami.
My husband got a call from an acquaintance letting him know that he was COVID positive and he was in close contact with my husband for an extended period pf time.  He told my husband on Thurs 22nd July.  So my husband (he is vaccinated) ended up not going on the cruise.  
We called Royal Caribbean to let them know and they said they would give a refumd but only if my husband could get a letter from the local health department stating he was in close contact.
In the past - when a person is tested positive for COVID - in Florida the health department calls the person and tells them to make sure to talk to anyone whom they think they were in prolonged contact with.  They do not take names.
Royal Caribbean told me they cannot do anything for me because they need the health department to give me a piece of paper that states my husband was in close contact.  I told Royal that that documentation does not exist.  And to get in touch with the health department is near impossible.  They refused - even though i told them to check the website of FL Health dept.  They stuck to their guns - wanting documentation that did not exist.  
So please beware - it really sucks that we did the responsible thing by not going.  But we are also crucified by Royal Caribbean.  Now i understand why some people would rather ignore and hope they arent affected and continue to travel.  
Just a heads up....

On another note (I think I can hijack my own thread) I am continuously getting hate mail from RC via Bioreference which is the company that schedules the PCR tests at the terminal. I have received multiple emails basically telling me I still need to schedule my kids appointments even though I did this the same day the first email was sent to me and have the documentation. I called RC and told them that I am receiving these emails and the IT department can’t figure out what’s going on. It’s just annoying. Yesterday I received emails basically saying “this is your last chance”. Really aggravating.
