There is a small price drop on the DX package for an upcoming cruise. I don't bother canceling and repurchasing unless it's going to save me at least $20. This one would be a total savings of $42, but I don't want to wait up to 90 days for the refund. Do these transactions get put in the que with canceled cruises? In the past it only took about 4 days.

We tried on one of the RC Blog group cruise rates and it was denied.

Hopefully this is a sign of more to come. Edit: Checked price booking direct with Royal...$151 for a spacious balcony. I would pay before giving up 500k LP’s.

Big sigh...still waiting for “free” Royal cruise. If they don’t offer something in the next six months I’m probably going to cash in and try out MSC.

Is each D+ in the cabin still getting 2 free days of Voom? Taking a 3 night cruise in April and was about to purchase Voom surf for both the wife and I and it would be $70.46 (total). Now thinking we could wait until after midnight the first night or activate as soon as we wake up on day two and we don't pay anything. I guess another option would be to purchase all 3 nights onboard and utilize whatever the D+ discount would be.

There was one for 100,000 a couple months ago. Last week the Royal obc was gone for a couple days. Only thing available was the 5 or 10% discount.

Side topic... I wish they would ban the aerosol sunscreens on the ship. Not only does a good portion of the product fly on to other people, it makes for a slippery surface on the decks. Many catamaran excursions have ban the use of the aerosol products to avoid slips and falls.

I have not been successful in combining more than one reward OR adding to a reservation that I did not originally book through Royal’s Casino Royale.

Good to hear. Actually going on NCL Breakaway in 9 days. The fare included deluxe beverage pkg, wi-fi, tips, 3 nights of specialty dining, excursion credit and obc. They even offered free airfare but I declined it since you were required to fly in the day if the cruise. I compared it to a similar Royal sailing and with the “free” perks that I would use or purchase we are saving almost $1500.

Anyone been recently or know if pricing still about the same? Going with a group of 7 and have been tasked (voluntold) with researching transportation options and cost to Magen's Bay. Not interested in ship excursions since they are at the beach for only 2 hours. Also how long is the ride mid morning and what time should we depart to have plenty of time to make it back to the ship?

I am ready for them to offer “free” cruises again.
