Mrs Jares we were on the same cruise in April. I went by Cupcakes everyday just to glare at the Red Velvet cupcakes. Never had one, but boy did I want to.

Have received ours in as little as 5 days and as much as 12 or 13. I do have another question. My wife only has 2 weeks of vacation and I have get 3-4 weeks per year. Therefore I might be going on one or two more per year than her to get us to Diamond Plus before we go on a Mediterranean cruise in 2019 (Our 20th wedding anniversary). I understand I will get double points for solo cruises. I would be in a balcony or lower cabin. If I book for two and she is a no show will I only get single points?

Ordered shortly after they were offered, but Matt was waiting for enough orders come in before sending to Daboyz. These shirts rock!

Last week while on Liberty we were told this would happen. The info I was receiving from crew was so inconsistent I was afraid to post it up. I guess that one crew member actually had current info. LoL

We sailed Liberty the week of April 24th. Great cruise!

Last night our reservation was locked out after midnight. Hoping they are offering drink pkg discounts once we board, but not holding my breath. Did just check our Nov Liberty cruise and they had 30% of Voom. Went ahead and purchased the unlimited surf & streaming. $88 total is not too bad for 7 nights.

Welcome to the RC Blog krysmith. We board Liberty on Sunday and will checkout the Diamond Lounge, but if overcrowded we will utilize the 3 free drinks pre-loaded to our Sea Pass card. We turned Diamond 2 cruises ago, but have yet to visit the Lounge during the evening social. We are in a JS, not a full suite, so I can't access the Suite Lounge. That will have to wait until our first GS in Nov. :p Let me know if you want me to checkout anything while on the ship and I will do my best to research. If you are familiar with the Periscope app you can follow me. I will be limited to cellular date while still in Galveston Port and we will Scope when I have wi-fi in ports. Minimum of $5 total, but $1 to $2 per bag. I am a little more generous if we use them to disembark and they get us past all the lines and straight to customs. I am interested to see what other say as I am hoping I am not being cheap.

Just checked our April 24th planner and Voom is not offered.

Nice find Kat! Soon you will have me looking for our first cruise pic from 1999 on NCL. At the time all guest seemed to be twice our age and we just had an "okay" time. We tried Carnival next and it was full of kids and drunk college students. I talked my wife into trying one more cruise. We got a last minute deal on Royal's Splendour of the Seas. We found OUR cruise line and have since been loyal to Royal. Our last cruise was on Enchantment with our adult sons and we had a wonderful time. Edit: Found pics.

Royal has updated their website and indicated that Tidal Wave is "Coming Soon" with an asterisk and this message: *Will be available in June.

Hey Indy! We are on the same cruise with you guys. We are driving down the day before and staying 1/2 way between Houston and Galveston. We park at 81 Dolphin which is about 2 blocks away. It's $55 for the week and we have found that the shuttle service is excellent.

I had a co-worker that just got off Liberty this past Sunday. She saw no sign of any work being done. I will be on April 24th and will post up my findings. I am hoping that it's a picture of me enjoying the ride!

From CC: Heard this from the Hotel director on the Adventure the week of 3/19/2016 cruise during the meal with an officer on the last sea day (3/25). The new restaurant will be Chops Grille. Currently Miami wants to locate it where Giovanni's is, however the ship management wants it on deck 5 where Jester's will be removed (4th floor inside cabins - 5th floor restaurant). This is still a fluid issue. A flow rider will be added on deck 13 - still undecided what will happen to the space where incline skating is located when it is removed. The Concierge Lounge will be put on the 14th floor, which is currently occupied the card room, which will be moved to the interior of deck 9, where the CL is currently located. The jogging track will go behind the Sky Bar on deck 12 and overlooking the Solarium. A deck 13 forward will be added which will be open space above deck 12, where new panorama cabins will be added ( floor to ceiling windows). These will be the major changes, though new carpeting and refreshing rooms, especially mattresses, are expected as well. Also, expect the Rock Wall to be pushed out so the entrance will be on the 13th floor, which will allow for a passage way between the CL and the DL behind the Rock Wall on deck 14. This may not be entirely completed in dry dock and if so, will be done while the ship is cruising, similar to what is being done on the Navigator. Have also heard that Izumi restaurants may be removed from all ships.
