After key breakfast this am, we were escorted off of the ship (bypassing all lines) and into the terminal where we picked up bags. We were then ushered into a separate customs line (with no one in it) and out of the terminal in what seemed like seconds. I wont spoil other perks of the key for you ?, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

Port Everglades terminal 29. They had a different (shortened) security area for us, as well as check in area. Signs for the key are visible and the staff is very helpful. Seating/waiting area for key members is available as well. Hope this helps!

I pop over to that "other" site every now and then.   Was just checking it out during lunch today and it never ceases to amaze as to how ugly it gets over there.   I see so many people (even mods) who just get salty and vile with people posting simple questions.    My wife was laughing at me the last time i was reading over there because i let it get under my skin way more than it should, if at all.   So many trolls as well.     @Matt it really makes me appreciate all of your hard work that has gone into this place, not to mention the great attitudes of everyone here.    Thanks again everyone!    My time spent here makes me really enjoy cruising much more than I ever intended.    I always log off knowing more than I started out and generally have a good laugh as well.   Cheers!

Food is so speculative, the last time I was on Oasis and Adventure the Main Dinning room food was really good. The thing is that if you get something you don't like send it back and order another of something else.

I found this video to be useful when considering the key. It's basically a front of the line pass with internet. 
 

Totally agree that it's not necessary, but we usually tip $20 at the beginning, which usually means we get very good service and occasionally, we will also tip at the end. We also have it in a wee 'thank you' card as well.
We will always have a few thank you cards with smaller tips inside on us for when we come across exceptional service, but we're unsure if we will see that crew member again on the cruise.
One thing we ALWAYS do is to write plenty of the comment cards for the staff. They not only get to receive and read them, but it can also help with pay increases and perks and that doesn't cost you a thing :)

Top Hat Deli (great spot that we go all the time) downtown Fort Lauderdale. 

I really really wish we were embarking out of fort Lauderdale this year instead of Miami.  Last year I didn't know this was a place to go and there pics looked amazing!!!  Jane
